Odd. Why would ASADA bring that stuff up now? Was it part of the evidence they re bringing to the case? And why charge Dank with giving Hexarelin to players if they aren't going to charge the players for taking it? It really sounds like they are running a PR campaign as well as an anti doping case. I guess they've worked out that Sloppy Joe is wielding the axe and they don't want to be part of the next round of cuts.

Asada really scraping at the bottom of the barrel now.

Or the players drinking unknown mystery blue drink which may or may not have had Mexican ingredients.

No need for all this speculation.
All the facts will be on the front page of the Age tomorrow.
But seriously, I'm worried about the health implications for those poor lovable souls at the scum, and Caro will just be beside herself with worry and anger.

Chip's comments tonight suggest ASADA don't have any intention of formally charging Bock.
If they did they would have to drag Travis Auld out of his AFL exec job and give him the same crucifixion that they gave James Hird considering he was the equivalent position when Gold Coast hired Dank and there's no head coach to pin the blame to.

The AFL built GCS on their own dime which included bringing Steve Dank into the AFL system and effectively rubber stamping him. He then gave Bock CJC, then went and blew up Essendon and the AFL have the gall to charge everyone on their cobbled up charge sheet with not doing proper checks on Dank when proper checks would have apparently shown he was a shady character.

Also, ASADA are putting everything they have into Essendon right now. A small single player case is not high on the radar when they have their reputations on the line and can't possibly be business as usual dealing with, yaknow, doping in sport.

The Communications Specialists are right on to the latest ASADA allegations of multiple clubs......(not)

its to get Dank - gotta remember that Dank is not represented.

While it's great that Chip can get these "scoops" (even though they are really just allegations) I have a really hard time with the fact that all of this is being leaked. Can't everyone involved just let the tribunal run instead of trying to put pressure on the other during the break period? The process is laughable.

Unrelated, but I was planning on heading down to training with a mate on friday. Does anyone know how long the sessions open to the public go for? And whether it's possible to get there via public transport?

Oh and obligatory * carlton joke.

SEN briefly interviewed Peter Jess, manager of Nathan Lovett-Murray, this morning. Jess said he expected more to follow their lead in pursuing the AFL for damages.

"I think there will be a conga line of players coming out the courtroom door," claimed Jess.
