I don't know the make up of the 34 counts for show cause. From what I recall they did mention players and officials. There'll be trafficking charges in there too.
But if this is going to the ADRV then I think we can once and for all dismiss the Barkly St End delusion that James Hird and Essendon's high powered Lib connections got the judge appointed to tie the knot on the sack and chuck the puppy in the sea.

Mate, it kind of does when the process that is "moving forward" involves 34 instances where a (former) Essendon employee is going to be taken to task for doping offences invovling Essendon players and officials.
If you can't see how this is the proverbial bad thing, well.
(Unless of course you're of the view that Dank will, in the Australian Federal Court, use his scientific acumen to blow apart a globally agreed protocol on these matters)

What is less hilarious is that they were in the position to make them.
Point is, once a show cause letter went out, the ADRV panel were always going to sit. It says on ASADAs website for all to see.

People on here know the process. You only have to listen to any of our "expert" media commentators to realise how few people outside this board have bothered to find out the basics, but it still surprised me how little interest there is in the show cause/ADRVP process. (And even on here the Danks show cause hasn't made the "facts" thread, so its importance seems still to be kind of understated.)

Its has been going on for 14 months and the "expert" media commentators have not bothered to discover how it works. So the people that post here can see that the media is getting the details wrong.
The thing for people to take away from this is the the knowledge that the media always does this, they always get the details wrong. Everything you think you know about anything. The details you debate and consider, wrong.

Only a few, like Robbo in this case and Caro in some others, get it wrong wilfully. Mostly they are fed wrong stuff and don't have the time/resources/interest/support to get past it. Anyway, we're getting onto the future of the MSM and there's another board for that!
