VENUE CHANGES THIS WEEKEND
Round 2 Sat, 9th march.

Due to the unavailability of some grounds since the release of the fixture, there has been some venue changes for two of this weeks Division Three games.

Division Three

1. Warrandyte v Coldstream

All games will be played at Bulleen Park, Bulleen Road, Bulleen. Melway 32 C9

2. Ringwood v Templestowe

All games will now be played at Templestowe Reserve, with the round 11 reverse fixture being played at Jubilee Park Ringwood

Anyone know why the grounds are unavailabile?

Also you would of thought Warrandyte would be better off swapping home games with Coldstream (if possible) & play at Warrandyte Reserve later in the season, like what Ringwood & Templestowe are doing this week.

Thoughts on who is the team 2 beat 4 season 2013??? any big pick ups or big losses for any side??? Always 1 of the most even divisions...

Doncaster recruited very strongly.
Seem to recall you suggesting that last year BB and that did not really work out so well. Is Muller still playing? I know Collins has moved on - (always knew that would end the way it did). Was not exactly welcomed back with open arms at his old club so has moved to another VAFA club in B grade. 3rd club in 3 years and would not back against a 4th in 2014.

Was actually pessimistic for 2012 (was happy to tell anyone that would listen), lost too many premiership players & depth was eroded. When the injuries came & they did in a big way the struggle set-in. Towards the end when some came back became competitive again, but it was too late.

Muller still playing. Started very well got injured & when he returned was thrown around a bit. As for the other had heard this was the case, although has been training with us again for the last couple of weeks. Just a case of wait & see, perhaps a few other factors other in play here.

With returns from 2011 & recruiting will be a far better side, in a lesser grade. Happy to have something on the side Rooster to keep it interesting (not so pessimistic for 2013). ;)

Got any names for the Ins at Old Carey from the EFL?

Be interesting 2 c how templestowe go.. Heard they have lost 4 of there best players. presti , maghamez, muleta and eccles. hard 2 replace that sort of talent in the off season..

boronia to finally take that next step and reach the gf.dean grice returning after a year at port melb also have marc hardy as coach and 2 guns recruited from scoresby and montrose.

Have heard a lot of their seconds premiership side have left for Divy 4 clubs so depth could potentially be a issue but have heard the coach is going to take them to another level.

dont think they would be to overly concerned losing a couple of reserve players, however have lost holland and folino to retirements.i think wantirna sth could be the team to watch with templestowe to slide.

Wantirna South should be better then last year, but as for the team to watch, i hope your right but its a bit early for that. Have heard Boronia are the team to beat. Time will tell of course.

As for the Devils, their youngsters should improve. As for recruits, Luke Smith is returning & Brad Hutchinson may return as well.
Have heard former captain, Scott Edgecumbe has retired & Brock Baker is off to Scoresby.

would personally hate too see boronia win it.they seem like a bunch of arrogant pricks imo.can remember a articale in the leader newspaper last year when they said they hated division 3 and that they were too big of a club for this division and should be in a higher league.also after being 3rd on the ladder and 6 games away from finals they decide to sack the coach.

Ringwood will be a massive chance under new playing coach Brent Jane ( bloke can seriously play) taking a few frindge bayswater players with him.

He's listed as an 'out' for this week. Doesn't want to play against his old club?

I suppose he's hoping Boronia don't make finals, I'm pretty sure Upper Gully will. Won't be able to excuse himself from a final.

He wants to plat im told but part of Boronia agreeing to clear him was that he is not allowed to play against them. First time ive ever heard of this.

I wouldn't accuse Grice of not playing simply because it's his old club. There has to be another reason why he isn't in the side.
Wouldn't have a clue what it is though.
