This whole selection panel thing feels like a public relations move to ensure due diligence. Reeks of afl influence. The afl will probably pick the coach themselves. Is Sewelly there because Essendon want him or because the AFL want him there?

That was how I read it.This whole selection panel thing feels like a public relations move to ensure due diligence. Reeks of afl influence. The afl will probably pick the coach themselves.
I hope they pick Paul Roos on even bigger dollars than he is at Melbourne. That was how I read it.

I don't know why they're even bothering. Everyone knows it's going to be John "gritty half bank flanker" worsfoldI hope they pick Paul Roos on even bigger dollars than he is at Melbourne.
The veneer of competence and integrity is worth a lot of dollars to the afl.I don't know why they're even bothering. Everyone knows it's going to be John "gritty half bank flanker" worsfold

If only competence and integrity were a tradeable commodity, I reckon we'd be able to net ourselves a lot of first round draft picks with the excess that we have. Sydney, Essendon and Carlton would all give up their first rounders for even an iota of what we have. The veneer of competence and integrity is worth a lot of dollars to the afl.
why can't we wheel sheeds in on his motorised scooter...i mean come on he'd loooooooooooovvvvveeee to be back there...gosh surely he's in with a shot!!!!
I'm shocked to see this. Hopefully he remembers 2009 and makes the right choice.Brad Sewell going help them find their next coach. Hope he does a bad job.

Legally, of course.

Melbourne lawyer Jackson Taylor has launched legal action in the Supreme Court against the AFL over its handling of the Essendon supplements saga, claiming the league "engaged in multiple acts of misleading or deceptive conduct".
Taylor lodged a writ on Tuesday, alleging the breaches include "misleading or deceiving" the public over the integrity of the joint investigation in 2013 conducted by the AFL and the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority, the AFL's responsibilities for player health and safety and the AFL's corporate values.
"We rightly expect high standards of corporate conduct in this country. It is important they are upheld. It's even more important in the case of large institutions like the AFL," Taylor told Fairfax Media.
"The public is entitled to know what the AFL really stands for and the truth about many of the claims by the AFL. The AFL would not have made many of its claims unless it considered them important. It's important the public know the reality behind the AFL's public statements."

He has established a website and is hoping to secure public donations to help fight his case.

Who the heck is this guy? Just a disgruntled Essendon supporter with a law degree?
Haha nah Jackson Taylor. I thought you had to be impacted by the crime in order to bring something to court. E.g. You can't sue the paparazzi for chasing princess Diana just because you thought she was a nice lady. You mean Tanya?
Shreeds might be a tad busy holidaying, visiting backward arse clubs for a paid chin wag session and in his spare time getting plastered with his crazy brothers at the local.why can't we wheel sheeds in on his motorised scooter...i mean come on he'd loooooooooooovvvvveeee to be back there...gosh surely he's in with a shot!!!!
