Move Mascherano to LB (I know he's not a LB, but I'd still rate his defending there over Marcelo's.) Move Vidal to CM, Alexis to LM, James to RM, drop Messi back to CAM, Suarez at RF. Seems tough on Di Maria, but the world seems fascinated with James after WC2014. I think Di Maria has the runs on the board personally.

Goal scoring midfielders are rare as 4 dollar bills.

Matic has great control and passing but only controls the defensive aspects of the game. Not sure what he has done in 2014 to be considered better than Pogba. Matic won no individual or team award throughout 2014.

Pogba won serie A and the World Cup Best Young Player Award.

It depends on what kind of system you play. Real Madrid don't even use DM's. They've needed a player like Kroos for a long time and he's taken them to another level.

They are completely different players who play completely different roles.
