Played how many talls and got 0 goals out of them again?

Kane Cornes has finally noticed that Freo haven't been able to score for years. Big trouble now.

And dont forget North are only one year into their rebuild according to Kane.;)

Norths rebuild is coming along super, super fast already beating a quality WA team playing away in WA. Incredible rebuild. Normally rebuilds take years to accumulate multuple top 10 draftees and let them develop before you start seeing results like that.

Fastest rebuild ever for North!

Lol. Kane Cornes.......Mr Clickbait

It's amazing how obsessed you are with Essendon. Every second post you make in this thread you bring them up.
This thread is about Fremantle. I don't care what Essendon do or do not do. Go make a thread about Essendon if you're so interested in them.
I don't care less about Essendon mate.

It's coincidence that you only post here when Freo loses or don't score 100 points

Did you watch the derby today?

How many points Freo scored? At least 100 right?

This has become a massive issue and is now the hallmark of Longmuir's coaching.

Freo 14th for scoring this season after getting some cheap goals versus an injury decimated Eagles side last week. Will be lower after this round is concluded.

16th, 15th and 12th in "Points for" in the previous seasons as well

Well Freo socred 10.9.69 tonight . Remarkably the forward line was the least of the problems.

Take away Walters 2 goals, the other 8 were scored by anyone aged 25 years or younger.

Frederick kicked 2.

Sam Sturt running patterns were good. He made leads and marked.

Kicked 2 goals from beautiful set shots.

Only 22 years old. If you wonder why he has only kicked 4 goals from 3 AFL games since he got drafted by Freo in the 2018 draft?

He has spent the last 3 or 4 years either in the WAFL or injured, mostly injured.

It's mainly the ball movement and it seems worse when the players have time to think about it.

For example, in the 3rd quarter, Frederick had a free in the middle of the ground in the center square and he had a player running on his inside asking for a handball receive to generate some overlap and a deep kick inside 50. Instead, he fans the ball out wide and it becomes another shallow predictable entry from wide on the wing.

The game was littered with examples like this but on the other hand when they did actually go fast and direct they looked dangerous

Yeah they scored 6 goals when we had no one on the bench from the 29th minute of the 3rd quarter.
Now...

On paper, who has the better Forward line? Carlton or Freo?

Carlton easily as they have 2 Coleman medal holders.

Bag out freo scoring 100 points twice against eagles and sun's.

Yes and bag out Freo for kicking 10.9.69 vs the dogs.

Eagles kicked 10.9.69 vs port in this round too.

So..... Why isn't Carlton copping it? They scored 58 points vs tigers.

Scored 8 goals vs the saints today.

Only scored 100 points or more once this season.

So explain that ?

Probably because Carlton have a heap of backers in the media in Melbourne? But yes their delivery into McKay and Curnow is predictable and consistent only in its inaccuracy and poor quality. I think I mentioned in the game day thread and Fox did too in the coverage how crap their delivery was.

Don't they have a few duds getting overs?

Other than the two key forwards, there is nothing else for Carlton.
Fremantle have excellent small forwards but no key forwards.

If you guys traded Schultz to Carlton and they gave you McKay (obviously unrealistic) it would go along way to correcting both clubs issues.
Not only would Silvagni thrive as the second target behind Curnow, having a quality small forward who can create something out of nothing would change the dynamic of the forward line all together.

Geelong saw this firsthand with Stengle and now with Henry.
It is also why the Adelaide Crows are starting to become a handful.

No, I have a life, and I don't care to watch to terrible irrelevant boring teams.
You scored 100 points? Well done, now if only you could do it against someone who might actually finish outside the bottom 2.
Oh so you do have a life outside of bigfooty? Me too lol.

You only post when Freo lose or post low score or both.

Now explain why Carlton, despite having 2 Coleman medal holders can't post better scores than Freo?

Two teams can be awful at the same time. Sometimes more than two.

While some fans are pointing to the youth, the actions of Bell and co in trading away their first this year suggest the club itself did not expect to performing as they are this year and still be rebuilding.

Real worry that they've misread the play here and have stumbled 7 years into a rebuild.
