First we tell Adcock to bugger off.

Now Redden has put his cards on the table

But still there is nothing on Aish's supposed departure..

The ironing of it all!!
Be funny if he stays.

Putting aside the fanciful notion of Dangerfield joining the Lions, maybe Reddens' likely departure does increase the likelihood of Aish staying?

Maybe.

A decent enough chance that Aish turns out a better player than Reddo....

Fair chance young Jim and his mentor are waiting for final ladder positions.

Still a remote chance we could finish in front of Carlton I suppose.

From what I've read before, Carlton finishing behind us somehow increases the chance of then pinching Aish in the PSD (for nothing?)

I guess then, that presupposes that Carlton is where Aish wants to go. If that's not the case, why the ongoing delay?

I wander if Aish was considering Collingwood but this may now be up in the air given his mate Scharenberg is apparently now reconsidering his future there

So when can we expect Mr Aish to make the announcement he is leaving ? Will be a shock to us all - no one saw it coming :)

Here:

The royal house of Aish is pleased to announce that Prince James will be returning from the northern wilds, where he has sojourned these two long years.

He will join the royal court at either his home in Adelaide or in the heartland of the kingdom in Melbourne.

The prince wishes to convey his regards to the simple folk of the north for safeguarding his royal personage these last long years but the Prince must be among His people. He returns amid great expectation of riches being bestowed upon him by the club deemed most suitable by his loyal retainers. He awaits their offers at their earliest convenience.

Scharenberg to Brisbane #swagger #piesmeltdown

Is that a swap for Aish or Aish stays here with his mate?

Stays here with his mate for sure.

EDIT: Now that Pies realize they owe us something in return for Crisp'o, let's roll out PSD#2 for Scharenberg'o. Replace a berger with another berg'o. all is well.

Just to add to speculation, we've seen 3 players now in Henderson, Treloar and also Redden request trades, but still no sign of Aish who's been rumoured to be leaving in the past 18 months. Pickering has stated he's undecided - that may actually be the case. Wonder when we'll hear about the result either way. Lambert returning might boost our chances of keeping him. That being said tomorrow morning this post could be completely contradicted.

You might find that the reason you haven't heard anything about Aish yet is that the club he is going to haven't finished their season yet ;)

he Aish talk has certainly slowed a little. He did comment on one of Dan Mcstays pictures yesterday. Dan put one up of himself and Bundy and Aishy commented 'family' which Dan replied #family. Doesn't seem to be a massive disconnect from him and the group yet unlike the gh5.

Oh, that sounds promising

Party outside the Gabba if we keep him

Effigy burning party if we lose him

We are strange creatures, us footy supporters.

If they leave, they are scum, lowest form of life, filthy dirty traitors and not worth pissing on if they were on fire. Even if we show them the door and tell them to piss off. This is especially the case if they happen to get a gig at another club.

But if they join us from elsewhere (or stay when they might not have) they are enlightened, loyal souls who have turned away from the dark side and seen the light.

Just sayin'
