We’ve dominated hit-outs and certainly Sweet’s have looked like they should advantage us. The lack of talent and grunt in our midfield is killing this team. Narkle is a seagull. Sinn wasted at HB. The two little guys up forward unsighted.

Without Mead and Jackson playing in this midfield, it’s a non-entity.

We should still be prioritising drafting for young mids. Other teams bat 6-7 deep. With Wines approaching 30, our top end is elite but soon there will be very little behind it. Playing Sinn at HB is understandable to an extent to get him match fitness, but in the longterm we should prioritise him and Bergman becoming centre square mids.

Havent watched so far but going by the stats, this team needs Mead back desperately.

Narkle even at SANFL level is a nothing player after his big first game for us last year. Not helpful

Unfortunately everyone in our forward line is such an irreplaceable superstar that there's just no room for him.

We have a tall forward line of semi-achievers. Not one of the three incumbents is a reliable match winner. They all do just enough on an inconsistent basis to tease us and to keep their spots, but none are, have been or possibly ever will be “champs”. I don’t know if Georgiades will be either tbh, but if fit, he shouldn’t be kept out of the AFL team just because Finlayson can stand and watch in the centresquare as a pretend “second” ruckman.
