With a bit over a week until the first game it's probably time for anyone who's interested in playing to put their name down.
The beauty of this competition is that it tends to be self managing.
For those new to the board it works this way:
Anyone interested adds their name to the list.
You have to do so before the first game.
Then each week, before the first bounce, you indicate which player you think will kick a goal in that game.
In brackets you put a sub (in case of late withdrawal)
If your player succeeds then you remain in the competition for the following week, and so on.
You cannot choose the same player twice.
Last man standing wins, and then we start all over again.
Hope I haven't forgotten anything important...

There's been some discussion about what happens if you forget to select a player.
As this can happen to any of us I think it's fair that everyone gets one chance.
So, in the unlikely event that someone forgets, that person will get the player who has the lowest guernsey number in the game (e.g. if Fas - 1 - is playing etc)
They won't however get an emergency.
This seems like a fairer option that getting the FB.
