A good quarter and a half.
A very good quarter and half by Fog
Jones, Berry, Macadam, TT, Rowe, Harry all showed good things and they're the future.
Keays absolutely busts a gut all day.
Our defence had no hope, especially with the delivery the Eagles got.

An under par result - not too dissapointed tbh.
Great to see Jones back and finding some confidence. Gives us some much needed pace.
Hamill is building really nicely to his pre concussion(s) form.
Fog was great - inconsistent, but he'll get that right in time, and when he does he'll be a weapon. Any who thinks otherwise is a fool.
Scholl has to stop handballing to his teammates under pressure. Lost count of how many times he did that today.
Would love to see Browny spend some time in middle. Could be Laird-esque and give us some much needed pace and class with ball in hand.

1/2 quarter is shiteworthy
Deliberately going in a tall defender short was very arrogant and got exposed as the dumbarsery it was.
Fog's first game in his actual position without Tex in his way. Promising signs for the future.
McAdam was good. Turned things around. Well done.
Seedsman had some mind numbing moments.
Led them for inside 50s for most of the game, just very poor quality.
We desperately need to invest in some smart midfielders.

Jones looking like a footballer and McAdam showing some semblance of his 2020 self the real highlights. Fog imposing himself on the game early was good, but he obviously fizzled late.
Kids in general didn't disgrace themselves. Berry and Thilly snagged a few.
The bad is the same as its been for a while now. Terrible bombs into the fifty. Ludicrously undersized defence. ROB's form. Frampton's existence.
Sloane was also pretty anonymous.

Said it in the gameday thread - keep playing him as a secondary rebounding defender to Smith. Allow him to get some confidence up by raising his disposal count

Fogarty started on fire, faded in the middle with the rest of the team and forwards, then bobbed up at the end.

Lost to Darling turning into Dunstall for a quarter. That aside we were a chance.

That 15 minute period where WCE exposed our lack of a second KPD and Doedee unable to play loose killed our momentum.
When Doedee had Hartigan and Talia he would play off his man and create a defensive double team against a guy like Darling.
Throwing him into KPD takes that away.
Second half moving Kelly ,(lol) onto Darling allowed Doedee to play his role. Darling's goals dried up.
But the ship had sailed.
First quarter was brilliant. Second until WCE could isolate Darling was pretty good too. Game was on our terms.
Then it went to shit. Clawed back a bit in second half, but WCE cruised a bit.
There is a lot of good, but that non selection of a KPD against WCE was dumb.
