A lot of hoopla was made of Thomas not long ago. Here in Goodes final game he flops to the ground like the cheat he is, and then attempts to kick a north player in the knees/shins.

Not suprisingly, the commentators didnt even mention it or want another look at it.

Thoughts?

My thought is you should find another target. No mileage left in this one.

Should be charged with murder and given the death penalty (once we reinstate it for people like Goodes).

If a petulant child did the same to his/her mother, they'd get a smack on the arse, maybe two for good measure. No point suspending or fining. As Seadog said, "No mileage left in this one."

MRP report just in-

Adam Goodes has been forced into retirement by the MRP over a kicking incident in the game against North Melbourne. The MRP found that due to the fact that the incident caused a furore on Big Footy forum, Goodes was given the choice of saying sorry or retiring.
He chose to retire.

was more malicious than Thomas the week before. Both deserve a fine. see what the MRP finds (reckon he gets off)
I can see him sitting this week out.

Just another lasting memory of a dirty player, don't bother with a fine or we'll have to listen to him piss and moan in the media even more about how hard done by he is.

Like The Cheat he is ???? Oh ! The Irony !!! One cheat alone cannot maketh a Premiership but past History will tell you that a collective of 22 can and will.

The news was not quite as good for retired Sydney Swans star Adam Goodes, who was fined $1000 for kicking at North Melbourne defender Scott Thompson.

Goodes fell to the ground in the third quarter of the Swans' loss to the Roos after a minor scuffle with Thompson, and while on the ground kicked Thompson's legs.

He was charged with a first misconduct offence by the MRP, which draws a fixed $1500 penalty.

With no applicable bad record, Goodes can accept an early plea and reduce the fine to $1000.

The 372-gamer confirmed his retirement after Saturday night's defeat and a tumultuous year in the spotlight.
