I'm on my way!Free beer and schnitzel for anyone who can make it to my place.
I wasn't saying they can't , its just that Fed Square is closer to a few bars as Robbie says and its close to the Station. Beer Deluxe has the pure Carlton Draught, really good. It also has the AFL live siteNo-one has to be anywhere, not everyone will attend the parade, I only suggested somewhere in Melbourne's CBD to make it easier for our interstate visitors. A simple yes or no to the venue would have been sufficient.
The MCGWhat's the best place to go for the Grand Final in Melbourne?
Other than the MCG?The MCG
Fed square has a live site.....or go to a pub in south melb. dressed in Red and White as I'm sure there are many non members swans fans who also don't have a ticket.Other than the MCG?
Is there a live site in Sydney?

Grand Final Day its looking like we'll be meeting in the Fed Square area for its central location to Flinders Street Station, walking distance to the MCG and the above discussed pubs.
Friday I'm in favour of the pubs around Chinatown
Thinking more Transport or Beer DeLuxe as Young and Jacksons tends to get very packed and is thus hard to mingle
If we are well up in the last quarter may I suggest Glenferrie Oval might be a smashing good place to view the game?Other than the MCG?
Didn't they used to open the MCG at 3 qtr time? In 2005 I was watching at Punt Rd and then quickly hurried to the G.If we are well up in the last quarter may I suggest Glenferrie Oval might be a smashing good place to view the game?
Don't think they do any more. Health and safety restrictions would prevent it.Didn't they used to open the MCG at 3 qtr time? In 2005 I was watching at Punt Rd and then quickly hurried to the G.
They would be better on FRiday, lets have a pollThinking more Transport or Beer DeLuxe as Young and Jacksons tends to get very packed and is thus hard to mingle
