Hey guys, sorry to unleash the spam but I thought i'd let everyone know that the Ground Branch Kickstarter went live this morning!! (yes, I did jizz a little).

Ground Branch is a realistic tactical shooter trying to be a mix of Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon and the UT mod Infiltration. That is, everything that COD and BF is not!

At this stage it is only going to be released as a multiplayer game, though if people pledge more than the goal amount they may look at making an SP campaign.

For those not familiar with kickstarter, it's a novel idea where Indie projects can garner support from the interwebs community to fund it. Basically the project sets a goal amount to be raised, people pledge, but if the goal amount is not met, then everybody gets their money back.

The game's website is www.groundbranch.com which has extensive information on what the game is going to be like.

The vid is made up of completely pre-alpha material.


The minimum pledge amount is $15USD which gets you a digital key when the game is released on Steam.

Get to it guys/gals Hopefully it's successful and we can finally play some tactical shooters that aren't mindless respawning drivel!

Just an update, pledges have just about hit 10% of the target, and they're looking to hit all the major gaming outlets now that E3 is done and dusted.
Last night they also rejigged their KS page, flows a bit better and includes some pictures to break up the wall of text that was there previously.

If you were a fan of the original Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, or America's Army (basically what this game will be a combination of), please pledge some hard earned to the KS campaign I'm not gonna lie, we really need the support!
