It wasn't the most productive draft. You have to go to pick 49 to find someone who played more than 100 games in the AFL. In fact only three players drafted played more than 100 games for there club. The most famous being James Hird at pick 79

It was a very very very thin draft after that pick anyway. That's probably in part why they did it.

Well it was going to happen at the end of the year anyway and if he needs surgery, then playing again is out of the question.
Bad luck, he was a good player at times for Norf, just didn't hit our high hopes.
