Just had a look at our round 8 side that lost to the swans and there are 6 different players this time round.
Our midfield looks much much better and so does our backline.
EG-
Midfield inclusions: Sam, Shiels and Woody.
Ruck- big Johnny
Back- Lukey and Angus.

Not sure how different the swans are but our side looks much more competitive than it did last time we met.

They are missing Shaw and Hannerbery from last time. They also have Pike back for Derrick.

Fair to say we are stronger and they are weaker than last time we met. Also at the MCG where we have a good advantage over them.

Quietly confident we will get the job done.

On a side note gee whiz the $wans are pretty close to having their depth, or lack thereof exposed. They are always so lucky with injuries, of they had the same level of injuries we had this year, do doubt they would have won a game.

We need McEvoy to cut across in defense and give guys like Schoenmakers and Gibson a chop out. Ceglar is more then capable of carrying the bulk of the ruck work anyway and with our defense short on key talls, it might not be a bad thing to have McEvoy push into defense during the game and help out our back six.

Sydney had a bad run of injuries last season and hung on for 4th but were quickly found out in the finals. They were limping and tired - let's hope our run is better this year
