How do the fans correct the obvious corruption within umpiring ranks?

MORE THAN ANYTHING the performance of the umpires needs to be above question. With all of their money the AFL shouldn't have a problem with seeing that umpires are above suspicion, completely transparent. We need umps that are completely independent.
It's not going to change you're gullible if you think it is its only going to get worse.
Every week we see the same bullshit yet no umpire gets punished, every week there are different rules no one gets punished?
Wonder why?
Because its intended, notice how Channel 7 commentary teams wants us viewers to get familiar with the umpires like they are our buddies? what kind of sport has nicknames for umpires?
The umpires do not fix the matches because they like "X" team they generally try to keep it even to make a better spectacle, come finals or nearing finals they favour teams who will most likely generate the most money, Vlad said it himself last year that he was disappointed with Port winning the first weeks final as TV ratings will suffer.
Collingwood make more money than Port if they get into finals
West Coast make more money than WBD in the finals
Hawks make more many than North in the finals.
Do not blame the umpire, the umpire has no personal affection for a team they are just doing as they are told.
If the AFL doesnt say anything, its working as intended.

Good on u van dyke - Im a Freo member and seeing the finals umpires reminded me of our old club footy days where ud supply ur own umpys - decisions always biased towards their own team. Still not happy about those soft free kicks in front of goal against Freo in the finals.
