Both were playing through injury.

I feel as though half our side is playing through injury.

Wellingham looked discomforted, Masten and Shuey must have something.
LeCras isn't over his arm
Selwood was playing injured
Cox rested/out of form/injured?
Naitanui had a slow start, played while injured

Most players aren't ever 100% but it really seems to be affecting these guys.

I seem to remember Francis Burke of Richmond playing a few games with a broken leg.
Don't make them tough like that any more.
Dipper with a punctured lung.
Must be others.

Assuming we won't know the prognosis on Mitch Brown until tomorrow?

If it is his ACL I would hazard a guess that he wouldn't get back to full training until February, am i right?

+ west coast conservative medical staff would be lucky to be back playing afl within a year . Unless he goes LARS
He and his twin brother have sure been in the wars with their AFL careers.
One seems to go out in sympathy with the other when one gets a serious injury.
Certainly twins in sync.
Both St Pats Ballarat boys . Top football school in country which has produced over 100,VFL/AFL players.

How many of our guys in 27 years have had repeat ACL injuries? I can think of Brad Smith...

Not sure if accurate - but Ricciutto mentioned something like 27% do repeat ACLs - we'd be well under that.

Says something for conservatism in this regards

Yep our staff are good wouldn't let Lecras play even though he felt confident . They were conservative with bennell aswell . Just look at Brendan whitecross from hawks thought he was right trying to get back for finals and did it again !

Yeah best case is a PCL which would end his year but rather that than 12 months.
It didn't look like a typical change of direction ACL tear , but the force was upward when he landed . Maybe bad jar and some Bursae damage hopefully best result . Come on browny you were having a breakout year :(
