So pretty sure I don't want an inconsistent midfielder with poor kicking skills. He'll stay at Essendon just trying to get a few extra bucks or years in contract.

I'd take a 3rd or 4th round pick. I'd rather free up list spot for a kid.

I'm just frustrated that this bloke has kept getting games, gets shoved to vfl 1 week, plays average, then comes straight back in. He's never had much accountability in his play..

We have plenty of blokes who dominate VFL and play crap at AFL level so really don't want him. If we were so intent on getting him I could live with 4th rounder. But as I said don't want.

I have to say that I'm not sure what to make of it, we do lack pace off the half back line, perhaps that's the intention. I've always thought he was just an average player but I guess the situation at Essendon hasn't been great to bring the best out of players.
