Structurally in a long term sense they would have been very useful as Richardson tries to develop the team as a unit for years to come. However, when you ask are they important to our success (or lack there of) this year I think not. Bar Geary, the others are all younger developing players. I don't think they would be the difference in a 50 point plus defeat to be honest. Perhaps 4 extra points but not much else in a short term sense.
