Can the quarterback change the plan in madden, like the play is a passing play but the field opens to run it? I keep getting sacked going to yards by foot and either throw a ten yard pass or a 40 yard, nothing between.

Yea you can, I think on Madden 15 you press square for audibles and you can change play.

Or maybe you should run offensive plays where the D has to decide which receiver to guard leaving another open? But its hard though, I am the same as you as I am just starting to get the hang of it. Most defenses (if im reading it correctly) I have played use cover 2, which I hate cos I never seem to make the throws close to the touch line.

I try and run it over inside 10 yards to goal, I won the super bowl option 10-3 like that.
