Most of the women in that documentary left pr0n. Pretty sure I saw one of the girls in a recent porno.

Yeah I think they were all pretty recent though. No way doing pr0n doesn't dog them for life though

Anyone switching between aus and US. I've tried but can't seem to chromecast half the shows.
Any chance you've got a computer you could also stream the videos on whilst using Chromecast on your tv? Think I've got a way you could do it but it requires playing the video through your computer which really is then pushed onto your tv.

Churning titles is interesting. I got a 6 month trial to Presto via a new phone deal. I was going to watch Boardwalk Empire and they pulled it. Stan also had the complete catalogue of James Bond movies which I was going to work through and they removed them too. Hard to keep customers paying long term if they keep chopping and changing titles when customers are half way through stuff, that will end up pushing people back to torrents.

I've had the U.S. version for a few years. Also have a Hulu subscription.
Kids bugged me to get the Aus version so the wife signed up.
Looked through the catalogue, very disappointing. Nothing really stood out, can't see myself using it very often.
Anyone on here got the Grand Slam, Foxtel, Presto, Netflix and Stan?
I promised the family we'd get Foxtel if they got rid of Netflix, and the kids chipped in around the house with a few more chores.

Hmmm...I have Netflix (multi-region), Hulu, Stan and HBO Go, and recently started a 2 month free trial of Presto (which is s**t I might add, and won't be continued). Also have access to my folks' Foxtel Go for Footy and EPL...it's not great but hey, it's free for me... :D

Don't use Stan a heap since Community finished but will use at least one of the others daily. I'll keep Stan for at least another month or two and see how it goes with new shows, as I want it to succeed. It's less than $40 a month as it stands so I don't mind...

Might be worth logging into the netflix settings to make sure it's enabled to auto or low as it might be set to stream in high.

My internet is pretty crap (download at 400-450kb max and I still manage to stream it fine assuming no one else is downloading).

So Presto is rolling out HD trials...

Just had a quick look and it appears most of the premium drama is getting the HD trial, including The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Homeland, Ray Donovan, Wentworth, Deadwood, Aquarius, The Americans, American Horror Story, Entourage, Rome, The Wire, Dexter, and the Good Wife. I'm sure there's probably more, maybe even a few movies, but I can't be bothered checking.

Watching on the Samsung TV app. Two minutes of TWD and two minutes of SoA looked ok so far to me...actually, better than ok...good to great even! Hope Foxtel follows suit and I might consider Foxtel Play again...

Finding some real value in Netflix :thumbsu:

There's a lot of shows, for whatever reason over the years I've just gotten lazy with watching. So it's great seeing Archer, Mad Men, Arrested Development etc on there.

Archer: I have to go. But if I find one single dog hair when I get back, I'll rub...sand...in your dead little eyes.
Woodhouse: Very good, sir.
Archer: [pause] I also need you to go buy sand.
Woodhouse: Yes, sir.
Archer: I don't know if they grade it, but... coarse.
