He’s just a ******* knob, ignore him. Been embarrassed with his CCJ call and makes a fool of himself anytime he opens his mouth about football.

Again Corr our worst defender. Just an idiot with the ball or when making decisions, has a negative football iq.
The potting of bailey scott is astonishing.

Not sure it can be manufactured to quite that extent, but * the AFL are certainly making the most of the current status quo. All they are missing is a competent Essendon team

I think its plausible in the same way the UFC sets itself to posit a fight outcome for the sake of future promotions on future fights, and will actively interfere with fighters and their agency as contracted competitors to prevent sponsorships of their own, what they can and can't do for a fight promotion and its completely shady preferential treatment on drug use depending on who's tested positive. It's got a shady history of rigging entire fights also.

If the UFC, FIFA or any other sports org can guide their invisible hand along the competition for profit, the AFL is capable of that and I think the dissolution of the sport is a hint that it could be at play. All the AFL cares about is its global standing as a brand, which is minimal but you can tell they look at how much the MLB or NBA is worth, and they want a piece of that pie.

Pretty soon it won't be on free-to-air TV ever, the comp will sell itself to a foreign ownership ala like F1 or many FIFA teams do, move to something like ESPN exclusively and a more global audience wouldn't know the difference between good or bad footy, it's the AFL's ideal version of footy for the sake of marketability and the AFL media is a stazi in bed with that agenda because they come along for the ride. Once the oldheads die off there won't be any stalwarts to challenge the traditional view of the sport, the AFL can mould it to its image.

He doesn't have to kick. Just mark.
Will also need more game time knowing where to run, and how to create separation so he's not competing with Larkey. Might be ok further up the ground as a target, but i haven't seen enough of him to know if he has an AFL level tank. It's too early in his development to play seniors.

Is the Curnow the only player on the field that the umpires deem you don’t have to fight to get to the contest?

Bloke gets such a soft run.

Defenders are well within their rights to be physical and prevent him from getting an easy run. It’s his job to battle through it, not be given a free kick.

Our entire team is woeful but it must be nice to be a Carlton power forward. The umpires basically spoon fed them confidence early in the game and now they are feasting.

As with every game, they arrested the momentum our young team was feeling, directly handed it to the other team because the contrived, pre-scripted drug-cheat sport that is the AFL wants the team that will generate the most money to be successful.

Nah we won’t, but the eight wins I had in my head at the start of the year is in danger
The draw didn't do us any favours with three Preliminary Finalists in the first four weeks.

Need to win some ball in the midfield or we are cooked. The fact that it's 30pts and not 50+ is probably flattering.

Also someone should tell the umpires they aren't donating to the kids hospital for every free kick payed.
Yeah, to them with their b@llshit free kicks, even sh1tter 50's and the frees we don't get. Cheating f@cking gangland wa@nkers

Hope Clarko throws Zurhaar into the middle this half.

Couldn’t really believe my eyes when the umpire said that after paying against Dawson.

What are defenders supposed to do in that situation?

We need a long-term clearance solution, and that is Will Phillips this season. Tarryn is gone, so all work goes into LDU at stoppages, and this is the result.

You are being too flattering for LDU

Hewett has had 7 clearances and kicked a goal.

It’s not a harder if your opponent has those numbers

There’s just too many variables in AFL for outcomes to be manufactured, but they sure can be massaged

He’s a one man midfield.

Teams would put all of their energy in to keeping him away from the footy.

And our other kids do nothing to help.
It's hard work in there without mature bodies - Cunners and Tarryn.

We have no in and under specialist and need to see Will in there for the rest of the season imo.

Big offers are coming Lukes way. Can see Collingwood offering the world for him.
