I think I have it...

My 2 options this week were:

1 - trade out a struggling Michael Johnson for Birchall at little cost, using only one trade.

2 - trade out Ibbotson for a rookie, then Upgrade Shannon Grant to Franklin.


I chose option 1 for some reason I can't comprehend.


Michael Johnson scores 141.
Birchall scores 24.

Franklin scores 138
Grant scores 47.


I rest my case.

I cost myself something like 210 points. Wow...

Too many to remember this year. Last 3 weeks, traded Cloke to Chapman, SDT for Drummond putting Myers on the bench, Tredrea to Riewoldt, all trades netting loss in points.

Although you can't judge trades on one week. Long term is the way to go - and the good news is you saved yourself a trade.

I can beat that easily. Traded out Akermanis for Chapman 3 weeks ago. Aker gets three 100+ scores and nearly 150 today, Chapman gets 0,0 and 59, with my emergencies getting 20 and 26 those two weeks. I've cost myself nearly 300 points and probably about 30k.

I did the Porpz -> BJ a fair few weeks back.
Porpz looked like dropping off after he kicked 4 goals in one quarter but did nothing in the other 3. I only wanted to keep one of Burton/Porpz. Looks like I chose wrong again.
Kennelly -> Chad is not sideways, I just chose the wrong week to do it.

Haha... WOW! nah I think this trade takes the cake for sheer shock... I mean Johnson scoring 141, wtf? Murphy's Law at it's finest right here. You do realise he only scored that because you traded him out?
