Official membership numbers end on July 31 so any that sign up after then are irrelevant and just the membership department selling game day tickets as memberships so it gives them something to do until the 2016 memberships go on sale!

It's all good money for the club no matter when you sign up.

Our final numbers for the year as recorded by the AFL is 75,037 members. A drop of 4,310 (-5.43%).

Our numbers will probably drop even further next year.

It will be interesting to see the membership revenue comparison. I suspect it is down more than the 5.43% raw membership drop. The membership numbers are important for marketing but the revenue is more immediate. We will be having a big push to sell memberships this pre season I suspect. I'd anticipate another drop in revenue but the numbers might be partly propped up by lower priced/less games options.

Our membership is always about the highest but we have to remembered also have large attendances so we are kind and helpful to the other clubs.
