I'm doing the Pokerus EV training that was recommended to me. I don't like my trainees raising in level in the process but I have to assume it's better in the long run.

Ultimately it doesn't matter when they get their EVs, as long as they get them.

Fair enough. I'm already done raising my Houndour's EVs so that was fun. Got about 20 more infected mons in a box because I'm paranoid.

In simple terms IV are inherited values that can be bred slightly to increase effectiveness.

EV's are stats that accrue as you battle different pokemon. You can also gain EV's from vitamin tubs & training mini games.

Too easy. That video was where I got my explanation from. I'm still figuring stuff out, but I'm slowly getting there.
