Crikey some of you lot watch games with blinkers and filters.
Mitchell provided heaps of the linking between 50s that we have sadly missed over the last two weeks. He had a good game and played a big role.

God no. hopefully Ken has learnt to keep Neade and Mitchell in the SANFL unless they really impress. Like really really impress. Really
Yeah the origami expert should stay in the SANFL, although you'd feel a bit stiff getting dropped after that game winning goal.

I'd like to see more of Ah Chee throughout the season.

We are in front of last year now. Freo beat us over there, Sydney beat us in Adelaide and last year the kangas got us over there.
(Straws deserve clutching)

POSITIVES:
- Great hang-tough win against a top 4 finalist from last year
- Pittard and Broady look in AA form after 3 games. Don't be surprised to see at least one in the final AA team
- Ryder was huge. Monstered Goldy
- Shultzy's goal kicking looked what we've come to expect
- Hartlett run himself back into form
- Krak looks like 150+ player
- Boak's last quarter was huge

TO WORK ON FOR NEXT WEEK
- Small forwards are our achillies heel. Impey is no longer a fringe player and is part of our structure. Thomas almost single handly beat us. Against Breust, Puopolo and Rioli next week, we need to play much tighter
- Bar Ebert's 4th quarter tackle and Patty's chase down, our tackling is quite poor. Higgins effortlessly broke 3 tackles in the first quarter and Krak's 4th quarter effort at half forward was poor
- Our kicking efficiency forward of centre needs work

All in all, a terrific result and Hinkley's game style is exhilarating to watch. Still not yet at last years standard but definitely a step in the right direction. North played into our game style and that won't happen next week.

Bring on the Hawks!!!!!!!

Props to Gray and Boak for standing up in the last quarter when they were needed.

Happy for Mitchell.

Can't wait to watch this game with the knowledge that we will win.

Ryder is a gun.

Wines :(

Happy to win.

Didn't play great but a step in the right direction. Gameplan slightly more effective, along with a couple of key players stepping up.

Gray to midfield seems to be our new plan B...

Last year we would switch him up between midfield with no real change in momentum, if anything him going forward was the gamechanger in out favour. Is this an indictment on our 2015 midfield, or a credit to Gray for being a champ?

Mitchell was fine for all bar 5 minutes where he was playing in a bloody back pocket, which outside of the Ruck would be the last place i'd ever look to play him.

But what happened to this disposal efficiency that we were hearing about all summer?

was much better tonight, no safe chippy chippy pretty rubbish that we dished up the first two round. no pointless huge stats to blokes racking up huge possessesions on the half back line but going nowhere, just proper fast aggressive footy, yeah disposal efficiency was down, but footy smarts was way up. ill take that every time

If wines is out, great chance for Moory to come in and perform.

Just want to check. We beat North Melbourne? In a close game? At Etihad?
Yes. And Kane Mitchell kicked a set shot in the dying moments to guarantee us a win.
