The federal parliament building in Ottawa went into lock down as a search for as many as three gunmen was under way in and around the building.

The soldier appeared to have been shot in the back, Henderson said. Other soldiers who were nearby doing drills at the time ran to help, he said...

The violence at Parliament comes just days after Canada raised its terror alert Friday.

Sound familiar?

Yep.

Was randomly listening to MMM this morning, fat Eddie was spreading fear and connecting to ISIS and even the stupid ginger terrorist rant got an airing. "Now we are not trying to spread fear or link anything to ISIS as we dont know for sure but..." And then went on to spread the fear anyway.

Reeks of fear mongering and the MSM is gearing up its propaganda again.

I switched the radio off once the commercials started.

How the sheep can put themselves through that s**t everyday has me stumped.

Im glad i am one belligerent bastard.

So is this real or faked in your view?
I'm not at liberty to divulge my personal views about things like this on the GD board, as the masses have been conditioned to get emotional and defensive whenever somebody questions the gov/msm narrative. See Ivan Pavlov. I will take me personal views to the CMP board where they can't hurt anybody. In this thread I will simply discuss the official story :thumbsu:

Speaking of the official story, I think it is a good thing that there were military personnel conducting a 'drill' at the parliament buildings just when the bad guys came to do evil. Just like there were 'drills' being conducted at the same time and place of the bombings which took place in London on 7/7. Like how the events of the Boston Bombing mirrored Operation Urban Shield, a 'training exercise'.

I'm not scared and I ain't buying whatever they're selling either.

If you are listening/watching/reading it, you certainly are.

Whether its conscious or subconscious, its real, they do it, and it sinks into your brain and changes your thoughts/opinions/views.

You can always turn it off like i have.

As a result of this the Air force has been put on alert for possible aerial attack. In Australia parliment house security has also been stepped up.

I can't find a story about this that doesn't involve ISIS. That is enough to tell you the media are using this unfortunate incident to push an agenda.

Just posted this in another thread about this, but does anyone know about the "sergeant in arms" role in Canadian parliament? Looks ceremonial yet that was the guy shot the gunman. Just curious.

That hat.

Every westminster parliament has one- usually it's a doddery old man who wears a funny hat and carries the ceremonial mace into the lower chamber, and runs the operations of parliament (unlike the far cooler, pornstaresque "Keeper of the Black Rod" who is responsible for similar duties in the upper house.)

As is the case here, the doddery old man often gets the job by virtue of a background of military or law enforcement experience, which seems to have come in handy here.

I think there are a couple of salient points here-

-either this Serjeant was taking a very hands on approach to his duties compared to Australian parliaments, or something went very wrong for a gunman to get so close to him. Here I think it would be more likely that the Serjeant would be one of the VIPs who security would want to protect in the event of a shooter in Parliament House, not the guy leading the posse fixed on gunning down varmints.

- don't * with people who carry a mace for a living.

He's head of security. The ceremonial stuff is only part of it. He would have been armed.
