King Arthur has converted me, the mighty Eels are finals contenders. He has done an amazing job in the turning club around after two terrible years under the guidance of two idiotic coaches. Offensively we have gone from 16th in total tries scored at the end of last season to first coming into this round. Defensively we are improving as well. And you can see the improvement and the passion in the players, they would run through a brick wall for the guy. Now if only he can unite our board like he has the players.

Eels did what needed doing. I'm happier with the 0 points conceded as we are always going to score a few tries or more. Jarryd should be in the 1 for NSW. Having a big forward pack is always handy too.

Very happy with Illawarra's scoreline as well, it is the first time in since 2009 we have kept a team scoreless. Everything appears to be going very well at Cumberland at the moment.

Not only should Jarryd be NSW #1, they should make him captain, he plays better with the added responsibility. Not going to happen through.

Raiders v Panthers and then a huge game in Hamilton where the Bulldogs play the Warriors.

Good day at the footy yesterday.Three good games. Dragons were definitely dudded a try just before halftime.From the resulting scrum, Dragons lost ball, Parramatta score. 12-0. 6-6 was a better indication of the first half.But the way Parramatta capitalised on that lucky break, and put their foot on the Dragons' throat, scoring straight after halftime,was the sign of an outfit that has gained a mental toughness to their game.

Saturday afternoon, Parramatta playing well, the blue & gold army is always going to turn up. Especially to Parramatta Stadium, almost 30 years after it was built, it's still one of the best stadiums to watch football.
