Didn't expect a win, Lions at the gabba untouchable, but that first half might have just cost us a home final, and potentially even finals. It's happened too often this season where our players just look massively disinterested at the beginning of games. You can't just switch it on for finals.

Genuinely had enough opportunities to win this match.

Awful decision making and execution going inside 50, and poor kicking at goal - have been death blows to the comeback.

Hard game to read.

* Brisbane. Our midfield needs to get fixed if we want to do any damage and the boys should have a strong hard look in the mirror. We started playing after 2.5 quarters. Not happy

Our mindset at the first bounce would be worthy of analysis.

I know there's some who put it on the coach and his ability to motivate the team on match day, but that seems a cop out & taking responsibility off the players themselves

You look at how strong we've come out the last fortnight on our home deck, so surely we aren't expected to believe that before tonight's match Scott or Dangerfield simply said to them, "well done for the last fortnight guys, but take it easy tonight and see what happens"

Players have to take responsibility to ensure their prepared for the match and ready when that ball is bounced - these are professional athletes, not amateurs working full time jobs who train once out twice a week & then rock up for a fun match on the weekend
