Unless something very extraordinary happens in the last quarter, this match will see the lowest ever score by West Coast against us. 58 was their previous lowest score against us, which happened in the 2017 semis.
Poor kicks inside 50 cost us more points.

That semi was a great game to be at. Stevie J 6 goals IIRC.
Liking the defensive efforts in this game. Of course, helped by Eagles' disposal being fairly poor, but we're really setting up a defensive roadblock.
If we could just be a bit cleaner with our own possessions ...

Not the best, but we got a sound win and got no injuries. Also got an inaugural win against the West Coast in Optus, and kept West Coast to their lowest ever score against us.
Yep a few records/firsts.
First time Cadman tops the game goalkickers.
We dominated but still have fine tuning before we play some of the better teams.
Game finished up…
Reid: 4K, 13H, (8 contested) @ 58%DE, 1 mark, 3 tackles
Thomas: 8K, 13H (11 contested) @ 71%DE, 4 marks, 8 tackles - 1 goal 2.
Surely that puts Harvey in the frame for a rising star nom.

Defensive effort - apart from the first 10 minutes of Q4 - was the best bit of that game. Otherwise, still some work to do, but solid contributions across the board.
Best game of the season by Briggs, hopefully that sets him up for some of the battles ahead.
Sam Taylor & Tom Green just immense. Really liked what we saw today from Aaron Cadman, especially that last grab, plus his clean kicking. Plenty of other highlights too.

Yeah solid match from Cadman. Been a slow build since his debut but I feel a geniuine breakout game is around the corner.

Great night at the Giants watch event, was clear some tables were booked but there were no shows which was disappointing.
Great vibe and atmosphere. Congrats to the lads for organising and I'll be back for gather round.

Finished work to catch the last 20 mins ... seems we were going half rat pace most of the day. Nice that Cads, Auskick and to a lesser extent Wehr all had good days. Big boys kept their powder dry

Kingsley mentioned that Aaron Cadman came into the game with a sore glute - was a little bit of doubt at one stage. The bye will allow him to recover from that, hopefully. Kingsley very happy with his game given that fact.
Also mentioned that Ashe came into the game with some soreness too, so the sub in the third quarter was just an opportunity to give him a rest and get Peatling some game time.
