Not sure on the Banks promotion, don't recall him having a stand out game in the ressies. Should be shelved until hes put on some size, there's no point playing him when hes built like the banner.
I agree , Banks is not ready. And against Melbourne who have a lot of good contested ball players, he’ll struggle. Dow and HRS too.

So Sonsie gets played out of position in the forward line, our midfield gets obliterated so the ball never gets down there and he gets dropped. While McIntosh plays in his proper position, gets 6 touches of which half go the opposition yet he keeps his spot.

I don't mind Nank and Naismith to work over Gawn, but Ryan should have come in to play as a permanent forward. And we have 2 genuine midfielders and one of them is Dow. Of the rest, Baker is too small, Graham is too slow, Martin spends more time forward, Bolton needs 2 bigger bodies in there with him (there's only Hopper) and that's it.

What odds are the godeees by 60 plus?

There is no logic in it because supporters are looking at it from the outside. You don't see any of the decision making or reasoning.

You don't see the decisions made because of matchups, the decisions made because of attitude, the ones made for a player to work on specific things. Everyone looks at it to try to put their most likes players on the field, not put together a team.
Grimes, Hopper and Naischmit are good INs

Dow, Campbell, Hugo, Brown keeps their spots.
Naism will be KPF.

Sonz, KMac2 will be back

Would KMac be selected if we had fewer injuries?
We’ve got to try and identify our next wingmen, but not sure who on our list is next in line.
I don’t rate HRS, Banks is not ready, Clarke injured.
Ross is injured.
Maybe Smith? But he’s just finding his feet as a small defender, it’d be a tough first up gig for a guy that’s really only in his first year.

Maybe Nank plays more forward minutes, with Naismith in.
Nank has always struggled with Gawns height.
Nank and Lefau forward, hopefully at least bring the ball to the ground and don’t let May and Lever intercept everything

Banks and HRS playing. No McAullife.
Just don’t get it!!
Must have Pickett playing a forward role, given we’ve picked 4 wingers .
Have no issues re Naismiths selection. His form has been outstanding, and you can’t let Gawn dominate hitouts to their midfield

Except Naismith has been picked to play as a forward

Seems like Dow is doing something the coaching staff like to have played every game this year.
With Hopper coming back Mcauliffe was always likely to be dropped, Banks in for Short wonder if he or ralphsmith will play half back with the other playing wing. Miller named on the bench wonder if he has a few stints up forward, Mcintosh probably sub
Miller the only defender on the bench.

Nank is better in the ruck. He has no kick goal kicking ability at all.
