It seems that we are well on our way to getting to our target!
I am meeting with the club tomorrow morning to confirm our Sponsorship, it seems that Nathan Wright is the winner!!!
But if you like I can confirm with the club who they think out of Wright or Dunstan would be more suitable to our syndicate?
Also will be sending PM to you all with banking details, would appreciate quick transfers if thats coolies, any issues let me know.
Perfect, my dad will be in China, so I won't have to explain why I'm not heading in to the game with him, so that I can meet up with some people I met on the internet insteadHave met with the club and everything is a go for Nath Wright to be our Sponsored player this year.
Do have another 24 hours to confirm Nath though so still happy to accept votes and pledges for sponsorship, really want to sell the remaining 15-20 shares before season starts!
At this stage have penciled in the Sponsors function as a lunch before the Saints v Crows game at Etihad on Sunday April 13th.
PM me for any change of date requests, noting that I am away for the first 2 home games....
Was there any further discussion on over-selling shares deliberately, and using the spare funds to 'create' more member prizes by buying caps, jerseys etc and having the sponsored player autograph them?
can someone please explain how this works. im interested cheers!
If we buy the caps, jumpers or whatever from the club, the money goes to the club anyway. Can always do the surplus as a donation
An alternative view is the club has already manufactured the merchandise and we're actually purchasing it rather than letting it take up space and/or be sold at a discount down the track.True, but the clubs only makes the profit on each sale of merchandise, as opposed to 100% of surplus oversell contributions, we give them in cash from our sponsorship group.
Enjoy the long weekend people, lets hope our Sainters put in a good effort this weekend v Port!
