I am meeting with the club tomorrow morning to confirm our Sponsorship, it seems that Nathan Wright is the winner!!!
But if you like I can confirm with the club who they think out of Wright or Dunstan would be more suitable to our syndicate?

So now that L2MFG has purchased the last 9 shares, that mean that shares are now a scarcity and some who have wanted to be involved, may have missed out. I am happy for Sammm and Boydie to resell mine, whilst they keep my original payment of $100. If there are those who want to be involved, I don't attend functions, or am in the draw for merchandise. Resell mine and add $100 to the pot you pay the club, if you have more interested and want to be involved.

Yes sounds a little like being offered a share in the Sydney Harbour Bridge, but just a thought.

Or Plan B, simply keep selling shares in the sponsorship, irrespective of how many we sell past the required number. The pressure on L2MFG last year, was getting to the larger sponsorship amount. This year, we take a smaller sponsorship, less pressure on Sammm and Boydie and keep selling shares.

All extra money is given on to the club. More involved. More money to the club. Everyone is happy.

We support the player through BF to further support the club. Would suggest that if we deliberately oversell, then all monies goes to the club. God knows they need it.

If you think there is an incentive needed, the club may be interested in providing the postcards and two tickets for each oversell addition to the group. These would be the same ones they were giving away in our community engagement program.

Be interested to see what rest of the group thinks is the best way to leverage this support, for the financial benefit of the club and involvement of the group.

Hi Cooperrules,

basically the way it work is that you buy 'shares' at $25 each. and for the number of shares you buy you get the number of chances to the events that have been assigned. The more money we put in the more it goes to the club. Boydie has bank account detials. you need to nominate the number of shares you are will ing to ppledge then pm boydie and he will provide you with the bank account.

If we still sell a few more we will work out what to do with the extra funds, as I DO NOT want to exclude anyone from buying shares, based on initial interest over the last couple of weeks I doubt we will get enough to get 2 player sponsorships worth.

As sunshine and Perservering have said, a couple of us (including me) may want to drop 1 or 2 shares to ensure everyone gets what they want.

BigFooty has also purchased 8 shares in a way as they put some money up for our sponsorship, we should be able to apply some of these funds to some signed merch or extra tix or something I believe, but still to confirm.

And goodie is right, if I buy merch it will be straight from the club and have them get signed so all funds to the club!

Great work everyone, I have received a fair few payments already which is muchly appreciated as I have paid full balance on my Visa (No trips to Vegas this weekend hahaha).

I am going to the Road to 2018 event next Thursday night so I will make sure I meet Nathan and let him know the BigFooty tribe has spoken and chosen him our our player this year! If anyone else from here is going please let me know and I will make sure we also meet to say gday at some stage!

Also confirmed with Bryce that we have a few options in regards to extra cashola being pledged such as merch / extra event tix etc so we will work this out once total in known, alternatively if we get another whole $1900 pledged we will try and sponsor another player!

An alternative view is the club has already manufactured the merchandise and we're actually purchasing it rather than letting it take up space and/or be sold at a discount down the track.

For those of us working and keeping our nation afloat from the horrors of Keanu Reeves appearances, enjoy the fact that other people will become instantly obese and sleep in whilst we brave souls are supporting their habit of being lazy schmucks whilst simultaneously wishing for an improved effort by the Saints.

Also, if we can get moar tics for events that would be good for the local amongst us, but a 50/50 split would be preferable as a bare minimum split for mine, so lets hope their Bryce is as good as mines in accomodating people.

And far better in a mustache, because ours made it look like one of those 70 pornos that no one talks about because it elicits laughter.
