The 2024 Emmys Discussion Thread (Binge/Foxtel)

From what I'm seeing on social media, it looks like Beef, The Bear, and Succession have dominated The Emmys this year.

Still trying to figure out how The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power didn't get a single nomination.

I sort of enjoyed Rings of Power. But not sure it warranted or stood out as a series for any sort of nomination

How do shows get nominated?

How is it that Sunny has never been nominated as they suggested?

Probably lots of other Shows

No one really watched Sunny for the majority of it's early-mid series run and maybe it's the type of humour that wouldn't resonate with voters. And it's weird the show has only recently gotten more exposure but the quality has dropped off. Perhaps it's the raised profiles of Rob & Glen?

The Gang goes to Jersey should have been enough to secure an Emmy just in itself that year
