1st place seems a lock at this stage....Given that usually translates into 2 home finals.... Then reaching The Grand Final at a minimum, appears assured.

Ross has not expressed a single concern about "4 quarter effort". When questioned about bringing 4 quarter consistency he mentions a lot about how a season is long you can't do that. And reminds everyone how non-story it is to bring up the "fadeouts" of a team that is putting daylight to teams consistently and banks the points after being comprehensive when the game is there to be won.
When some team is 30-40 points down on us at 1/4 or half time, that's pretty indicative of us being in the box seat to take the game in our secondary direction.

Pretty much a done deal that Freo will finish in the top 2 and be at home for two finals. Early days of course, but it's hard to see them not reaching their second Grand Final. You'd be a fool to bet against it. They are on a mission. They bat deep. Their B-graders are playing out of their skins (which is key, I reckon.) I also think it would be wrong somehow if Pavlich and Ross Lyon were unable to achieve premiership success at some point in their careers. This is Freo's year. It's like Geelong in 2007. You can just feel it.
In my mind, it's simply a question of "Who will be their Grand Final opponent?"

- Fremantle v Sydney - this is my early pick. Dockers to break their drought and the Swans to lose B2B.
- Fremantle v Hawthorn - a possible cracking Preliminary Final at Subiaco
- Fremantle v Port Adelaide - Port need to improve… I thought they were real deal, but maybe they're overrated.
- Fremantle v West Coast - this would be a turn up for the books. Shift the Grand Final to Subiaco?
- Fremantle v Adelaide - I'm not sold on Adelaide. Good team, but Prelim at best
- Fremantle v North Melb - the Roos could sneak in if they met Hawthorn at the MCG in a Preliminary Final

Always people start talking about this when a side is 7-0. But hasn't happened yet and I'd say there have been more dominant sides in the past.
