I'm willing to give LN the benefit of the autocorrect doubt there.. or he was :drunk:

Also, heard a grab from Morgan's post match interview on the radio in the car on the way home from work this arvo. Genuine LOL.
Knowing LN, there's probably some deeply subtle joke in there that's far too witty for us mere mortals...

Either that or he's 8 pints in.

16- equal world record with AB and Rohit

After his 16th six, Gayle had faced the same number of balls as Samuels for 104 more runs(196 off 136 v 92 off 136). ******* insane s**t.

Some rather interesting scores from todays shield round up;

South Australia (168/5) in a precarious position in reply to Tasmanias 364. Tom Cooper (89 not out) and skipper Travis Head (50) amongst the runs for the Redbacks. Bird (12 - 4 - 32 - 2) the best of the Tasmanian bowlers.

New South Wales (189/6) never really got going on day 1 of there match against Western Australia. Kurtis Patterson (35), Henriques (27), Abbott (25) all got going whilst the Blues start tomorrow with high hopes for Neville (49 not out) and Stephen O'Keefe (18 not out).
Coulter-Nile (16 - 6 - 32 - 2) and Tom Moody's nephew David Moody (14 - 2 - 37 - 3) the pick of the WArriors bowlers.

After having the early ascendency, Queensland (206/9) were pegged back nicely by a strong looking Victorian line up. Test batsmen Joe Burns (86)opening up got going whilst Phillipson (39) added some vital support. Strong signs for the Ashes with James Pattinson (17 - 4 - 34 - 3) and Fawad Ahmed (26 - 6 - 49 - 4) amongst the wickets.

While we are at it, being sick had the opportunity to watch the United Arab Emirates this afternoon with the bat. (Irish captain stupidly sent them in).

Having been held early, UAE made a blistering finish to there 50 overs with close to 150 coming off the last 15 overs. Shaiman Anwar bringing up the first century from a UAE batsmen with a wonderful 106 (83 balls - 10 x 4, 1 x 6) ably supported by Amjad Javed's 42 (35 balls - 5 x 4). Amjad Ali (45 off 71 balls - 5 x 4) and skipper Khurram Khan (36 off 53 balls - 2 x 4) not able to cash in on starts in the top order. Paul Stirling (10 - 0 - 27 - 2) the pick of the 4 clovers.

Ireland in reply have never got going. Ed Joyce ran his luck on the way to a streaky 37, ditto Porterfield. Nial OBrien chimed in with 17 but really struggling to "hut boundaries" as Dean Jones repeatedly mentions.

How so?

*eagerly awaits response
Made the best batsman over the past 2 and a half years (on the cusp of national selection at the start of the year) 12th man and kept Dan ******* Christian in the side.
