Not sure where to ask, this seems like the place... Heading over to Melbourne from Perth with a few mates, just wondering if the casino has any dress requirements? Collar shirt, dress shoes etc? Only taking carry on luggage so don't wanna pack stuff I don't need

Yeah will be going to the pubs n stuff, going to be pretty boozey boys trip. Most of us like a bet so will probably check it out at some stage. Arrive Thursday lunch time fly out Sunday night

Casino is must from a tourism/betting POV but as Doss said, don't be afraid to check out some more off the beaten track pubs too!

Okay, going to upload a few of my better photos from my travels around both Australia and elsewhere, as suggested by Howard Moon.

My favourite spot in Central Park- wouldn't know you're in one of the world's busiest cities:

I took this as we were descending into Saigon on a flight from Hanoi.

this ones from the golden temple at Amritsar in India, after 4 weeks we were getting fed up with all the people in our faces at every turn, and this place topped it off, just a huge mass of humanity; a solid block of (slowly) moving people - thought id try to humanise it by capturing a small piece. i was happy because it was a new camera and it was the first time id ventured out of auto ;)

Taken on the road from Lao Cai to Sapa in the extreme north of Vietnam. The mountain pass at the back of the photo is over the border in China:

A bridge in Hoi An with a Japanese temple built into it. Built in the 1700s.

The infamous Jacob's Ladder on Ben Lomond (second highest mountain in Tassie, near Launceston). The mountain is so sheer they basically had to build the zig zag road to get onto the plateau.

You would think some tropical paradise, right? Nope. Wineglass Bay at Freycinet.

Sneak peek through the trees at Cradle Mountain, across Dove Lake:

Jumping back to Vietnam. Statue at the Catholic church overlooking Nha Trang. Very scenic city:

I walked on those terraces after I took this shot. The mud was really thick! Near Sapa in far northern Vietnam.

Changing tack again; the Boston bombing memorial, taken three months after it happened:

A mural on the side of some government building in Boston- just thought it looked cool:

Another change of tack; sunset at Rye Ocean Beach three months ago:

Man, these photos are making me jealous.

The only overseas place I've been is New Zealand (several times), don't have any great pictures on hand though. Best I've got is this shot of Mount Cook (tallest mountain in NZ) from when I went to the South Island after completing the HSC:

You can't really tell in this photo (because I'm s**t at photography and it wasn't a great camera), but the peak isn't a point, it looks like a bite has been taken out of it due to an avalanche in 1991.

Sweet photo. I think it was an earthquake that triggered a rock fall, wasn't it?

Either way, Mt Cook lost eleven metres off its summit as a result.

More than likely, yeah.

Experienced a few earthquakes while I was over there actually, nothing major. One on the first night in Christchurch and one while I was with family near Wellington. We were in Christchurch I think two months before the huge one in February 2011, so it was eerie seeing things like the Cathedral as damaged as it was.
