From the VFL report

Injuries to Nick Hodgson and Louis Butler saw the Roos lose two rotations heading into the second half, with Powell also failing to return after leaving the field in the third term.

"'Powelly' is still being troubled by his left leg ... he's got some soreness in his ITB that we'll have to work out.

That helps explain the drop-off on the scoreboard.

Comben and Zurhaar may as well say season.

Will Powell fractured and dislocated his ankle and was out for less time than Comben….

Can they just put a graveyard icon next to Comben and be done with it? He was 4-5 weeks away 5 weeks ago. The tease has gone far enough
Riley Beverige has him listed as a test on the AFL website. No idea what’s going on because he’s been on 4 weeks for a month now.
Zurhaar just mentioned this arvo on triple m he’s likely back next week for the tigers game which will also be his 100th
Why is the club getting these timeline so wrong?
Wardlaw was 3 weeks away last week and is now a lock.
Zurhaar is 4 weeks but will play in a little over 11 days?

Q: Why did the club build our list so wrong?

Q: Why did the club get the fitness standard so wrong?

Q: Why did the club get the interchange so wrong when no other club has ever made this mistake in probably the last 20 years?

Q: Why did the club do player development so wrong?

A: A s**t football department that still has some s**t staff in senior positions, where you can't just guess your way through.
Consequently, the football department performs like s**t.

Agreed on all those points.

I felt Kevin White was going quite well early on but all of a sudden Archer gets OP and goes missing for 3 quarters of the season, Bonar’s knee plays up, CCJ has his 2nd concussion and is MIA, Charlie Comben we have no bloody idea where he’s at, how his recoveries going and what the plan is for the season, Hamish Frees injury was first reported a good month before any diagnosis was made and then we ruled him out for the year and then Tom Powell can’t get through not 1 but 2 VFL games after apparently proving his fitness.

It’s just been a shitshow finish to the year after what I thought was promising signs and real progress.
