The most obvious thing to note is that the team is definitely getting stronger. The Opening Round team of 2024 will be significantly stronger than 2022. Plus nearly all of them are now premiership players, except Lachie Schultz but we’ll have that fixed up by the end of the year 😁😁
 
Come the start of the preseason and out of respect for the achievement of last season I could see Fly penciling in the names of the 22 Premiership players for our round 1 team.

At this stage most would assume that Schultz is the natural replacement for Ginnivan in the 23 and the front runner.

Beyond this the position of Frampton would appear the most vulnerable with McInnes and Johnson seemingly the strongest contenders now that McStay is out with his ACL.

From there however it's going to be hard to displace any other member of our Premiership side for round 1 and if you want to you'll have to damn well earn it over Summer.

Barring injury I could see us only making the 2 changes from the last team we fielded.
