He's 2 or 3 inches shorter than Kurt, he only ever played full back at SANFL level
Yep, still tall enough to provide a chop-out in the ruck though.

I don't know if he is staying or going but I think it originated from someone posting they think he will then someone agreed, a couple pressed 'like', so it has slowly become fact as is the bigfooty way.

Another Swans success story in the making. He is a battler, but anyone would be if you had his run;
"My three years at Richmond were injury plagued," he explains.
"First year I missed the whole season with a broken ankle, that put me on the back foot coming into my second year.
"I played two games that year and then the following pre-season I broke my wrist twice and missed the first five games or so, and that just put me in the scrap heap.

They say footy is above the shoulders, and looks like the Swans culture has helped D-Rex get it right.

Dericx seriously looks more capable of holding down the number 1 role than Pyke from what I have seen ( a lot more mobile and 2nds efforts around the contested ball is much better than Pyke ). Since giving the num 1 ruck he has been getting better and better

Derickx has handled himself very well since pyke went down. I nearly spat my beer out when horse was trying not to laugh when asked about derickx in the presser
