Details of Tiger Woods 12 were released today and it's shaping up to be an absolute gem.

I don't know how they did it, but Augusta National is finally in the game (and looks stunning) and for my fellow Aussies, Royal Melbourne is also one of the new courses.

Presidents Cup will also be a playable feature.

Release date is late March/early April.

so getting this. looks to be great. just typing and its on sportscenter about it and looks great.
 
This series needed a "reboot" and this goes a long way towards it.

Tiger 11 was one of the worst, if not the worst of the series, so I'm glad they have gone out of their way to give us something new.

New courses, new features, and it seems like it may feel like a good game again.

Sounds pretty cool. Playing this will be the closest ill ever get to playing at Augusta.

agreed TW11 was the worst the of the series.

haven't played it since getting all my trophies.

Already can't wait for this to come out in late March!

Masters Moments: I wonder if Tigers famous chip in will be in it?
 
Will actually probably get this for Wii and PS3 (might involve trading in a few odler versions), can't believe they managed to get Augusta into the game.

Now how they actually manage the actual gameplay, instead of just focusing on the course itself. Also wonder how they'll actually get the TOUR just like real life with only 16 courses but anyway.
 
Awesome. I've slowly lost interest ever since 2004, which was the best TW's game imo. It's a must buy for me now.

Even getting Nantz and the return of Feherty is a huge improvement. Playing as an amatuer and working your way up. This looks awesome.

Yeah man I played 2004 all the time, have missed a couple since then, but had the latest couple and thought it was better than those games.

Nah thats only on the Kinect.
But on the Wii version you can enter a cheat to play his wife and you get to bash Tiger with a 9 iron

Released just in time for the Masters.

Hopefully they have a live online Masters tournament run in real time conjunction with the tournament, would make it even better to play Augusta while the Masters is going on.:thumbsu:
 
Would have to see what else the game has besides "The Masters", i purchased, played and for the most part loved 08, 09.... but no so much 10. It's not that i hated 10, i just thought it was "more of the same" (the foundations of which were laid in TW 2004 - still my favorite game :thumbsu:). Because of that and the whole sex scandal, i chose not to purchase 11.

I tend to go through the motions with most sports games (Fifa being the exception), Madden is another example - i purchased 04 (again my favorite other than 1993), 05, 06, 07, 08 and 09. While 09 was excellent in graphics and gameplay (other than the excessive fumble count), i had read about 10.... but wasn't impressed enough in the changes to warrant a purchase. So i skipped it, but i returned for Madden 11.

Long video. Gameplay throughout but from 35 minutes onwards it has commentary and crowd noise.

Another cool thing is the ability to save mid round.

EDIT: 1hr 13mins for the 18th hole. The crowd is huge on the green.

Loved it at 1:19:50 how one of the spectators was hit on the foot and start hopping on one leg. :p
 
While we're all jizzing over Augusta, I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Royal Melbourne yet. Will be great to see one of our finest courses, and Presidents Cup host, represented in the game.
