Mat Ryan's Club Brugge undefeated in Europe. 15 games, 4 draws and 11 wins. Quite impressive.

Still going on about this? I thought you didn't care. Why don't you actually watch some Serie A games and see how "negative" it is.An Italian football fan talking about negative football is incredibly ironic.
Which serie A game did you see last?I didn't realise you couldn't discuss things you don't care about.
You said something, I responded.
Chelsea are ok, they were going for a more attacking system and recruits as they tried to lure Pep but he rejected them. Anyway Chelsea and EPL are way off topic at this stage of these compsChelsea was my 2nd team prior to Abramovich. I am disappointed that they have turned into what they are now. It is not that they are successful, it is that they have replaced Man Utd - buying the best players from the other teams and playing negative football.
Edited: Man Utd reference re buying players not negative football

Seeing the most competitive teams at this stage of the finals is what you wanna see as a fan. Can see Napoli playing one of the Spanish teams in the final
We scored 5 against Schalke away. Does that mean we don't play negative football?Still going on about this? I thought you didn't care. Why don't you actually watch some Serie A games and see how "negative" it is.
See, this is the problem, Napoli score 4 goals in an away tie, Fiorentina fought until the 90th minute to score an equaliser away from home in order to get an important away goal and yet your perception is that Italian teams play negative football.

Wow just saw the score from the Wolfsburg Napoli game. They were absolutely dismantled by the looks of things - and at home too, don't think many saw that coming. Get in Rafa!

The Italian clubs doing well in Europa League says a lot about the league. Not a great deal of money domestically so the efforts are more centred on continental football. Xmas break & larger focus on the EL the main reason they often do well in the comp. Also doesn't help when we play Fiorentina over 2 legs in between a cup final & a London derby
If you ask any supporter throughout that busy period the EL was our lowest priority. Even the West Ham game on the Sunday had greater significance than the two cup ties. As you mentioned they played cup semi-finals in that time, that's a big difference to an actual cup final 3 days later. I'm not saying we definitely would have beaten Fiorentina had we not had the final, but you could see where the priorities lied with the team selections and subs in the games. Only 1 goal down and we were already taking players off who would play in the final 3 days later.Tottenham lost to fiorentina because they played a cup final and fiorentina had a two week break three months earlier? Each of Fiorentina, Napoli and Juventus had to play two legs of a cup semi final at the same time and they won their games.
I can tell you that the Italian teams do not rate the El highly. This year is the first year it is considered worthwhile because the winner goes into the champions league. Which also was a fruit available to Tottenham but that wasn't enough of a temptress to get them over Fiorentina?
Btw Juventus (also an Italian team) seems to be doing ok in the cl this year so it is not only the El

1st day on 2015/16 season Germany will be well ahead of England. Italy will be 2-3 points behind England.Germany can't overtake England in the UEFA rankings this season.

Fair play to Juve getting to the semi. I definitely think they're a top 4-6 club in the world. But the depth for the entire league isn't at that level.
