Okay folks.
I've been through everyteam and made sure people fit the required team make-up.
In doing so I sorted from highest games played + AFL ranking data (coz I ain't added the BnF and AA stuff yet) just to make sure you were getting the best bang for your buck.
Every team ends up with 3 non-scorers as we intended.
However a few teams had to take extra zeros because they didn't fill the team to spec - e.g. BACCS didn't pick a second Ruck anywhere to support Sammy Jacobs. Even Dawes couldn't get it done as he had no cover as KPF.
What is below is where I think a player can fill a position as indicated after the ??.
People have from NOW until we finalise results (* you freo) to say they are not happy with the potential position assignment. We can then bicker and debate whether it should stand.
(Before you ask - Rhys Stanley was averaging 7.8 Hit Outs a game so i think he's good to go for that 2nd ruck spot in my team.. but its up for debate. Have at it)
POS Drafted - is where the player was placed in the final drafted team by the drafter.
AFL Rating Position - the champion data assigned 'position' for the player based on where they got the majority of their stats (no possie for swingmen yet.. i'd suggest it will come out in the next few years). This was the base guide for a players 'position' for scoring purposes.
Player Position for Draft game - is where they need to fit into the final teams to allow a score to be counted for that player.
(yes there were other options at times -> I went with best way for your teams to get their higher scoring players to 'score')

Each Drafter's team will have a total score based on summing their best 22 players in-line with the rules below:
- Each side must have 2 KPFs
- Each side must have 2 KPDs
- Each side must have 2 Ruckmen
- Each side must have at least 3 other forwards
- Each side must have at least 3 other defenders
- Each side must have at least 5 midfielders
- Positions of players to be determined by:
- Position nominated by AFL rating system
- Consensus agreement for key position players, and any discrepancies based on new position for the year etc.
- Any major discrepancies/disagreements will be put to a vote. Majority of voters participating in the vote to determine a given players classification.

So eg you need to put Rich in a different pos to where i did in order to maximize my score? I don't have a problem with that.

Not quite. You had him as a fwd. But afl player rankings had him playing more pure mid this year. You only had two options to play non key forward. You need 3. You have plenty of mids so I'm proposing we put him as a fwd. So here is ppls chance to say nah you can't have that.
Same for me with Lachie Henderson. Picked him as a kpd. He played more kpf. I'm proposing I still get to count him as a kpd.

And it's someone who can, does, take ruckwork at stoppages to spell the main guy. Doesn't have to be Cox/sandi like someone had.

I will point out though (just for fun - it has no consequence) that Thompson gets a Def rating and Keefe the KPD
Martin, Garlett and Anderson were your non-scorers. They were your 3 lowest scorers apart from the rucks.. whose score you needs or you take a zero anyway.
Anyhoo - no noise from anyone complaining about the assignments I chose - so I'll make them permanent and get on with putting in BnF and AA stuff.

Righto - finished a quick exercise taking a PERT view of where each dockers players might finish in their BnF and extrapolating that into the results.
(all my view only and I suspect won't be terribly accurate).
We have a clear winner.
The rest of the 'top 8' doesn't seem to change, I'd say its 60/40 set in stone.
After that it's a bit of a crap shoot. One drafter had 4 good quality dockers and will probably jump a number of places (not into top 8 though).
So - do people want to wait or just have the results published?
Final draft order for next game will still be set on final order once the Freo BnF is finalised.
