I’ll go around again, of course

Hopefully I can actually pick up someone worthwhile at my first selection next year, rather than them playing less than 1/5th of the year’s games

What a bloody trainwreck.

Picked 3 best and fairest winners
Zak Butters
Toby Greene
Jack Sinclair

And two runners up
Rory Laird
Tom Atkins

And every other pick stunk

#11: Charlie Curnow - 74 points (Coleman and AA, not a bad start)
#20: Sam Walsh - 23 points (can we get points for Gary Ayers Medallists?)
#41: Jarrod Witts - 34 points (ok)
#50: Brennan Cox - 26 points (bleh)
#71: Josh Daicos - 61 points (good)
#80: Zac Bailey - 31 points (lack of B&F the negative here)
#101: Daniel Rioli - 34 points (ok)
#110: Jack Viney - 44 points (pretty good)
#131: Tom McCartin - 15 points (injury-affected season)
#140: Cameron Zurhaar - 22 points (still finished top 10 in the B&F despite missing 7 games. North, why are you so bad?)
#161: Eric Hipwood - 26 points (at least he got games)
#170: Jake Soligo - 21 points (ok)
#191: Sam Powell-Pepper - 30 points (not bad)
#200: Jack Scrimshaw - 16 points (yuck)
#221: Patrick Lipinski - 19 points (thanks for the flag)
#230: Michael Frederick - 21 points (pretty average)
#251: Rhys Stanley - 13 points (pick a ruck earlier next time)
#260: Nathan Broad - 20 points (eh)
#281: Alex Neal-Bullen - 30 points (pretty decent at this point)
#290: Marlion Pickett - 21 points (could've been so much worse)
#311: Dane Rampe - 15 points (meh)
#320: Ben Cunnington - 9 points (high risk, high reward pick that didn't work out)
#341: Shannon Hurn - 25 points (Missed 10 games yet was still top 5 in their B&F and ranked highly in SI. That's telling.)
#350: Rhylee West - 12 points (fell out of favour)
#371: Marcus Windhager - 19 points (meh)
#380: Jack Graham - 20 points (meh)
#401: Nick Coffield - 0 points (will he ever play again?)
#410: Tom Clurey - 1 point (a good couple of picks here)
#431: Sam Durham - 23 points (decent value here)
#440: Brady Hough - 15 points (not bad)
#461: Elliott Himmelberg - 3 points (next)
#470: Mitchito Owens - 35 points (now we're talking, brilliant value, I always knew I had an eye for young footy talent
#491: Adam Kennedy - 5 points (ACL)
#500: Jimmy Webster - 17 points (passable for pick #500)

And the winner is:

WeeBlake

A very strong performance from WeeBlake this year, picking out some of the game's best players which given the pool of 15 teams was vital to clinching the win. WeeBlake ended up with the Brownlow medalist, 2 All Australians, two best and fairest winners and the runner up in the Coleman medal

Rounding out the top 5 includes Danger Zone, TubbsFarquhar, I Lost My Keays and Drugs Are Bad Mackay?

Danger Zone as usual is a strong competitor in this game, while Tubbs had a nicely balanced list across scoring categories. Unfortunately I Lost My Keays forgot to draft a second ruck, otherwise he would have finished second. Drugs scored heavily off his three All Australians who also all won their B&Fs.

Hall of Fame:

2022/23 - WeeBlake
2021/22 - Donkey Magoo
2020/21 - Danger Zone
2019/20 - Scorpus
2018/19 - Mr MysteryGuest
2017/18 - Scorpus
2016/17 - Scorpus
2015/16 - Danoz & Jcpdragonx

Pick 448: Sam Wicks
Pick 453: Joel Amarty
Pick 478: Aiden Bonnar
Pick 483: Buku Khamis
Pick 508: Elijah Tsatas

Jeez thought I would have done better. But then Chol was a dumb pick that early. Took a gamble with Marcus Adams, Seed, Ben Brown that didn't pay off so didn't even make the games played tally. Taryn Thomas being a bad boy, Hall injured. Onwards to next year!

Thanks for those who give time for this
