Thought this might be a good topic to start for those to share the places in the world you've visited/lived.

Unfortunately I can't add much as I've never left Australia, but hopefully there's a few out there that have done a bit more than me.

I do way too much business travel.

Visit the UK once every quarter for 4-5 days, Manila (Philippines) couple times a year, plus the US once or twice a year. Then throw in domestic travel every 3-4 weeks (Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast etc) - it gets pretty draining. As you can imagine - more than happy to give away redeemed frequent flyer award flights as Xmas presents.

But the travel isn't as bad as my last job. For 2 years, every 4-6 weeks I was on a long haul flight (Houston, Dublin, Amsterdam, Beijing, Singapore). Only took 2 x domestic flights in that period. Actually, Singapore seemed like a domestic short flight on most occasions!

Favourite spots:

Amsterdam, London, Dublin, Arizona, Beijing & Queenstown NZ.

Have got a full passport, but yet to visit Sth America, Middle East or Africa.

I'm a bit of a home body and get homesick if i leave these shores - reckon there's lots of places in Oz i would prefer to go to than overseas anyway. Yep, i'm strange.

But did a quick 3 month trip back in the '80s:

Greek Isles
Athens
Rome
Southern Italy
Frankfurt
England
New York
Orlando (Disneyworld etc)
San Francisco
Hawaii

Apart from that short hol, nothing else o/s and no plans to either. Scared of flying anway lol
