Mainly here so we can enjoy the LOLs afterwards at the end of 2023, but also an interesting discussion point.

I’m in genuine two minds and can’t call it, but who do you see finishing higher in 2023?

Who is positioned better from a list/team perspective?

Let the games begin…

Mod Note: This is a thread for BANTER and giving and taking a bit of the mickey. Enter at your own risk!
However this does NOT mean name calling, personal abuse, injury trolling, swearing or gifs/memes with swear words in them. Keep it clean and above the belt.
Thank you.

Are you recruiting one before we play? MSD isntvfor a while surely....;)

I thought he kicked one and the umps kicked four for him?

Jokes aside he's a threat when you're attacking and playing well. Does he tackle and chase?

I've criticized him for being a "small game specialist" but that was a decent game last week, I think the Giants are the only side with more raw talent than you.

I just hope we can give you a decent challenge, not expecting too much honestly. [mozz mozz]
He runs a sub 6m 2k TT, Charlie is super fit

The misconception is that he’s quick, he isn’t - so while he does chase but he’s not a threat in the same way Harry is, or Fev was.. more like a Richo or N Riewoldt

Every supporter base become experts when they finish higher on the ladder than another team

I still laugh when a Bomber's supporter was trying to tell me Shiel was better than Curnow start of 2022
I couldn't say this with a straight face.
But I will give it a go.

Fin McRae is a far better midfielder than Cripps.
Also Premiership winning Full Forward Billy Frampton is way better than Harry McKay.
Nope, just doesn't feel right.

Lets try it the other way.

Walsh is better than Daicos.
Nope, madness is madness :D ;)

Voss deserves a good go.

I felt he was dealt a tough hand at Brisbane, Matthews was a proven coach but extremely "here and now", very good at taking a group to their best through relentless run but not a long term development coach really..

Not too many sharp tools left when Lethal finished with them in 1996 or 2009. Now Voss has got some developed and some raw goods at Carlton, it'll be a better test of him.

I said it at the time when they were trying to spill him last year he can get more out of them, and if nothing else he got Cripps into a final to strut his stuff.
