Fevs Punishment should be - removal from the leadership group

Are/were Blues fans happy with Fev's inclusion into the leadership group to begin with?

His off-field behaviour can rival all 'bad boys' in the league which really poses the question as to whether he is leadership material and a role model for the younger players?

Terrific player on-field (despite some brain explosions) and would be a walk up start in every team, however, his track record shows he is a repeat offender and probably always will be so I agree that he should be dumped from the leadership group and fined.

If they decide to take it further with a suspension they may but overall I think the result will be of too much significance to drop him for a 'crunch' game- albeit its only round 1.

No, I wasn't particularly happy. A good post...see you Collingwood supporters are capable of it :p:thumbsu:

suspending him shows to the younger blokes at your club.. that the leadership group is taking a stand and not accepting these behaviours any more...

We've tried suspending him, and that didn't work. Large fine is the way to go in this instance.

The playing group chose him. Why? We don't know but they seem to look up to him. Why? We don't know.

Seeing as Fev hasnt been suspended but has been removed from the leadership group, who do u think will take his place??

And he's one of my fav players BUT i dont think he's a good role model to all the kids who look up to him, seeing that Fev has done this, the kids might think its ok if they do it.....He shouldnt hav been put into the leadership group in the first place i dont think....

Yeah by shrink I meant Phsycologist.

I think you need to create a situation where he has to work hard to earn something he wants. In this case it would be his leadership position. People use the Steve Johnson suspension as an example but it is very different. Firstly S.J was punished more from hiding it. Secondly he was made to train with the reserves and on his own for 4 months. He was not allowed at SS during regular training. He effectively was made to earn his place in the squad and respect from the other players.

Worked wonders on his lead foot didn't it.
Funny how he wasn't suspended again. Incredible what a premiership and Norm Smith will do for ya.

What you probably want to hear: Murph
Who I really think: Waite -was always the most glaring omission from the leadership group!
Both extremely unbiased opinions of course :p
And that is IF they chose to replace him in the leadership group, they could just stick with 5...

Are you referring to marking his territory or being out at 4am 4 nights before the season starts? The former has been blown out of proportion and was never the major issue at hand, rather the issue that brought it the media coverage it has received. The latter is an issue that needs to be addressed but I think our younger players are old enough to realise it's wrong, even if Fev (a serial offender) couldn't help himself.

Debatable, but I'm sure many will agree.

Haha yea of course I want Murph to replace him jks but I dont care who gets it if they do replace him, but if they dont replace him 5 is enough.
