No idea,
Didn't watch it. Just know from the DT board that Proud wasn't named.
They pretty much made the teams up although not having him in the squad is odd.

Not sure about the Ch. 9 Footy Show...

...but the League Teams on Fox had best guesses for the best team each club could field for the season.

Not Rd. 1. specific...was pointless...and Roham Smith is hopeless.

I haven't been with out him in my side for the previous two seasons, but he himself has convinced me to wait on him.
I particularly didn't like "bit parts player"

Let me know what you think...has it changed your view on judd if you had him in your team previously?
I personally just dropped him for Scott Thompson.
Im also thinking D. Cross might be a better option what you guys think?

The new League Teams looks shocking without Clinton at the helm.

As for the teams shown last night, dont bother looking at them at all. They named Hasleby to start ruck rover It's got no relevance to who will be named Round 1. As for Rohan Smith, he's a boundary rider at best. Not suited to the studio scenario one bit.

I also noticed that Jake Edwards is named on the Interchange and Pfiefer is only an emergency.

Do we take this as a sign for the year that Edwards is infront of Pfiefer?
Should i drop Pfiefer from my bench and pick up Edwards?

Could it be a case of cooling down all the hype surrounding Judd and all the high expectations everyone has and to allow him to work his way back into peak performance without the huge pressure?

Yes possibly, but that groin was shocking at the end of last year, if he does start slow i think it might be worth waiting on him.

I have the same issue. All the talk in the pre-season has been about Pfiefer, bit surprised he is not named. Not sure what to do. I have Proud as my second bench backman, so if he is named I might leave Pfiefer in and see what happens.

Anyone have thoughts on J. Sherman? Few people saying he is a good buy, but his pre-season was nothing massively flash. I am a bit torn between him, Gibbs or maybe B. Schammer.

to add to your problem Boak is also a good buy in that price range. Personally i have tried steer clear of those 300K mid's i just dont know what im gonna get from them, i would rather take a punt on a rookie.
But if i had to chose i would say sherman>Boak>gibbs

Also if we could get some more opinions on the Pfiefer/edwards dilema

Yeah, I know what you are saying about taking a punt on rookies. I have thought of maybe putting in Armitage or someone in that range - leave a bit more cash in the bank as well!

S. Thompson from the roos might be an option rather than Pfiefer - if you do not already have him that is. Depends on whether you are willing to wait and see if Pfiefer gets a game or if you want a bit of a cash cow from the start.?

All the rave has been about Leunberger from Brisbane. Both are 2nd ruckmen. Personally Leunberger.

I think the EDWARDS v PFIEFER situation is a stab in the dark
What about Scott THOMPSON. ($94) Massive raps.
Cleaned up in the NAB pre season and last years VFL Grand Final.
Garry LYON talked him up as the one 2 watch on Footy Classifieds if that means anything!
