Ackland getting killed as is Aisake.

Loved Armfield's tackle in the first quarter, the player had about 3 or 4 steps on him but Armfield caught him and got the free. Browney has been good, loved the set-up to Colbert where he plucked it out of the air and beat a few, kicking it straight onto Colby's chest. AJ has been great, showed some great pace in the first quarter out-running everyone.

Harts has been good on the lead, taking 6 marks so far and kicking 2.1.

Good game so far.

Since I started watching:
-Hartlett's been a class above.
-Edwards has been clean with his hands and disposal. Looks like a player.
-Ellard is working hard but lacks skill.
-Jackson's had some good touches.
-Aisake has zero intensity which is disappointing.

The rest have been relatively unsighted.

we have no system or run off HB :thumbsd:

That was a good call :o.

Benji looks better to me in the forward line, despite the dodgy kick.

Ellard and Joseph go alright for rookie picks :thumbsu:.

Would have to think that Hampson and Jacobs would be 3 and 4 ruckmen on today's performances.

Harlett has dominated to half time. Setanta will be feeling the pressure. Edwards needs to present more, as when he does, looks very good, just doesn't do it enough.

Aisake a little better that qtr but still very disappointing.

Bullants pressure, chasing and tackling has been excellent.

1%ers certainly picked up in the second quarter....physical pressure and chasing was much better.

JK had a great game for east freo Thy :):p

Will be a valuable player

@ second tier level.

My thoughts at half time:

-Harts very impressive. Presents brilliantly and continues running down the ground to present an option and to chase. Has a massive kick which doesn't seem to have been affected by the injuries too much, and he's accurate. Keep this up and he'll be stiff not to be in the team next week.

-Edwards looks good but been a little quiet. Is playing deep forward. Looks like he works really well with Harts up forward. Pressure is pretty good.

-Browne started brilliantly but dropped off a bit. Hopefully he has a good 2nd half. Great courage and pretty good skill. I like him a lot :thumbsu:

-Armfield pretty quiet but can't help but be impressed by his efforts. Should have kicked a goal right on half time but was a shocking kick and missed from right in front, 20 metres out.

-AJ looks a goer. Pretty tough and quick, disposal a mixed bag. Impressive return thus far for a rookie.

-Jacko getting a lot of it and in a lot of the play. Disposal a bit iffy at times.

-Ellard impressive. Looks to me as though he could become more than a forward pocket. Knows where to go but again, disposal sometimes lets him down.

-Benjamin very quiet, playing on a man down back and then moved up forward in the 2nd. Out on the full from a tough set shot pretty much all he's done.

-Austin very quiet. He's rough and might turn out OK but needs to get involved in the play more.

-Aisake very disappointing. Getting spanked in the middle and having close to no impact around the ground. Needs to lift his intensity.

-Ackland started pretty well. Getting a stack of it early and filling the hole down back. No impact in the ruck whatsoever though.

-Wiggins getting a lot of the ball and looks good but disposal is shocking.

That's all the Carlton listed players I can think of off the top of my head.

Ackland from 35m. Goals.

Ants: 8.10.58
Tassie: 5.8.38

Casey radio commentators bagging out Ackland for prancing around the field.
