Re: Ballarat Football League

And at the end of the year can you confirm if you did load up at $8 for Ballarat?? By the way they are currently $13. Not sure how intelligent you are so I will let you know that if you did load up at $8 you have made yet another mistake.

Its ok fatso we know a little bit about punting and love the fact that we are $13. How's souths form? They will miss the finals again with sutts leading them. He thinks your a tool too!

Why are you still posting?? Sutts set you up to look like a fool by telling you he was not playing. He knew he was and that he was captain. You have been played - now go away nunny.

it seems to me kings army that you have no life what so ever and all you do is sit on here and post your pathetic threats and opinions and believe people actually take notice and appreciate what you think. You need to grow up and stay out of other peoples business and stop thinking because you can say what you want on here and no body seeing who you are makes you a big man:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Nice 1st up post. I should stay out of other peoples business? Isn't that what you have just done with your one and only post? You have most likely read this forum for years and finally got the courage to post and you end up dribbling out the above pus. You know it is a nuffy posting when you have to read the post more than once to undersatnd it. Thanks for you input. Good luck with post number 2.

Re: Ballarat Football League

no need to apoligise the devils were terrible because they actually looked under pressure. the marsh were persistent, darley were lucky they couldnt kick straight oh well maybe a bit of goal kicking practise down at the snake pit this week

You need 10-12 quality players, not goal kicking practice.
Also Ty Shea needs some more skills sessions, whats the point in him getting it 40 times a game when he turns over 30 of them.

Re: Ballarat Football League

I believe Sunbury are going to bring their own Water supply on game day for use in player water bottles.
The move comes in response to that of the numerous documented cases in the Darley region of out of towners drinking the water then suffering severe after effects.
Whilst most local Darley inhabitants appear for all intents & purposes to have built up an immune resistance to the water over a number of years….. However
It is not uncommon to see around the town, especially on game day at Darley Park, examples of those poor unfortunates who have been struck down by whatever is in their Water.
Some of the Locals afflictions on display there are : six fingers or toes, webbing of the digits, hair lips, rampant alopecia, elongated crania, hermaphroditus, dwarfism & a particularly peculiar form of tourettes syndrome which manifests itself in uncontrollable public bouts of masturbatitus. With all these the “Darley Male” is also susceptible as well !
Local Authorities have for all to long blamed the shallow gene pool or the low sperm count in Darley for the problem, but mark my words people, it’s the H20 !
There’s definitely something in the Water in those parts to be sure !

P.S.
Pregnant woman & children are advised not to attend Saturdays big Match !

Looks like someone has been trying to recreate the brillaince of the late Chief or even the recently sidelined darley rat but the one thing you lacked in your dribblings was content. Im the first one to give credit where credit is due but the whole Darley water story was a big hit with the Melton kids when we used to beat them at school footy or kiss their girlfriends at blue lights. Darley are looking forward to the game against arch enemy (but respected rival- Sunba ooooh sunba).. It is true that on the ground they are sworn enemies but like Melton, Sunbury is one of the only clubs that Darley truely respects as people.

Admittedly their coach has had issues with Levi's over making the legs too long in their red tabs but all in all they have a few good mugs in their camp. Looking forward to watching Lee James in action and seeing if the rumours of water bottle tricks with his rectum are all a myth and whether or not he really can fit countless 20 cent pieces into areas only Troy Parker would know about.

Just in finishing i would like to congratulate Bacchus Marsh on getting so close to Darley in the seniors even if Darley were 8 men down, playing career worst football. It just goes to show that big heavy Dions 5 year plan of spending money on the wrong players isnt all that silly after all. Number 7 in the long sleeves was a good player seeings he played on Mustard Edwards who only had it 38 times off half back. Tysont Shea was darleys best player kicking it effectively to us 23 times and last but not least i congratulate Buggs Closter on wearing his black and yellow face paint to support his club.

Ahhhhhh cumba

Re: Ballarat Football League

Bit of both, North have improved without a doubt but sebas were terrible!
The inclusion of the rooster players IMO made a bit of a difference.
Linke for sebas come off early with a hamstring ping that he didnt want to risk, and i just didnt see Nuerath "fit in" with sebas's new playing style, no doubt due to him being committed to the roosters playing style and not training with sebas.... Cooper was out injured and was missed up forward. Lets hope alot is taken from this game and a few key areas addressed.
Norths midfield were very fast, but i am unsure exactly who the rooster players were for them.

Just checking u believe the difference in the game was the fact that north city had 3 roosters players back (all from the roosters reserves) of which only one was in the best and sebas had 2 roosters players back (reserves as well) which one got in the best as well and that was the difference in the game? one player makes 137 point difference? hmmm well we are all aloud an opinion and i'll give u mine in that case i watched the game and sebas = rubbish (going on what i saw on the weekend).

Dont judge Sebas on that 1 game. I know for a fact that after rd 1 some redan people, including board members and coaching staff, made comment that sebas were a much improved outfit and will be very competitive this year. Sebas were missing some key players on saturday and effectively had no bench after half time. And for the record Nth had 4 vfl listed players, not 1 of Sebas 2 vfl players were in the best, and clearly if you watched the game you would say that 3 of the 4 best players on the ground were Tyler George, Cam Richardson and Ryan Luke, all Vfl listed players. No question City were far to good on the day but try to keep things in perspective and dont get to far ahead of yourself in rd 2

But the margin and the team they played make things really bleak for Sebas. Can you see them winning more than 2 games?

Yeah i can. But as Gav McGrath wrote in the courier today, its not neccessarily about the amount of games they win. A lot has changed off field over the past 12 months that we wont see the results of on the field just yet. But long term they will definately benefit the club. Its about changing the culture.
But make no mistake, Saturdays result was unacceptable. And the coaches and board arent hiding from that fact and if the players didnt realise it after saturday, they do now..

Re: Ballarat Football League

Whats the go at the snake pit, everyone that i talked to that was a marsh supporter had nothing good to say about fat dion? Even though he extended his contract for 2 more years cant see him there next year if they dont make finals! Maybe they should take a look at what sunba have done in the last year, they have moved forward since Libba left.

dions a really good bloke and all, but hell being a good bloke doesnt bring premierships. if they dont make finals this year changes have to be made you'd think!

Oh Cameron you flatter me way to much with your circumlocution. To be compared to the legendary Chief or his young apprentice the Rat is something a mere Sunbury mortal could only dream of surely !
As our little hamlet waits in anxious anticipation of what shapes up as the biggest home & away fixture in BFL history, all at Lionland hope & pray that the football brilliance that is the Devils is in fact real, strong & enduring.
For I have 2 fears with this impending clash of the Titans that no true football follower should miss.
The first is that our coach the “Saviour Serg”, "Maximus Power" the “Napoleon of the BFL” in his quest to build a competitive unit, a side capable of mixing it with the best in the competition, has in fact (given the apparent standard of the League) Overshot the mark quite considerably.
The second, is that as with the Chief, the Rat & indeed Miller, their brilliance is undeniable, but it is as history shows a flawed Genius ! They simply cannot play within the rules. They tend to go missing just when their side needs them the most, loosing control with acts of undisciplined madness.
If we are to get a contest worthy as a preview of this seasons Ballarat Grand Final then focus & control must be paramount in the minds of the Darley icons, players & leaders.

All the best with this & good luck Saturday…………………… Your gunna need it !

Sunbury by 5 goals.

(Six pots was it ?)

My opinion was pointing out one of the factors i noticed. Intensity from the centre didnt have the momentum that i had previously seen in the redan game. This effected the confidence of the team quickly and the dark shadow kicked back in. Lack of confidence leads to hesitation, which wont win games. They are still a youth based side but are without doubt on the improve. Once that confidence kicks in fully things will fall into place. Wasnt an excuse just a personal observation.
Any moron can simply state they are rubbish, do you have any constructive advice ?

Re: Ballarat Football League

The jockey sized coach from Sunba may have slapped up a team over the summer to win the flag this year, but we will know more after Saturday. I think it will be a tough day for the Devils, hopefully they play better than the rubbish served up last week.
If we get within 5 gls of the might of Sunba ooohhh Sunba ahhh Cumba, then I will be happy. Kicking goals may be the issue, but may spring a surprise and unleash Hassent or Seaben.

Do you think Deckart will go to Hose? Will be interesting who Power sends to Miller. Maybe one of the new young kids - Climas or Robertson. Would be good experience to run with a BFL legend.

Deck will play on whoever is the biggest in the Sunba forward line, down back we have a lot more tall options this year, Deckert, Cape, Newton, Edwards, Leonard.

Any suprise inclusions at Sumba. K.A Darley are without Urch Robbins and Dryden.
Who is the wet going to suit more. I think Darley as Sumba have that powerfull forward line the wet will see the ball on the ground more so will make it hard for the high marking forwards.

Sunbury are sending a strong side across. They look to have got Darley at a good time with a couple of key players out. Players like Lekkas and Urch play well no matter what the conditions are like. Should be a cracking game - it just a shame about the weather.
