They all hit Jack lace out on the tit with good 40m+ passes.

Jack's timing on the lead is exquisite. But great to see some good foot skills complementing it. Don't ya just love that, especially from the young guys? ;)

Its great seeing our guys take the game on with low direct kicks. and they are actually paying off. So glad we got Hardwick.

ha ha - i wonder Richo must have been thinking when he was doing the commentary.

Jeez how come this happens now !

I was tempted to mention that in the OP peej, but don't wanna go trampling on the great man's grave, so to speak.

I was always a staunch believer that Richo should not have played inside F50 way back when Wallace started at Richmond. That was mainly because I didn't see him as a natural forward, and thus his leads were often ill-timed.

Don't get me wrong, I always loved watching Richo, just thought he was better served elsewhere on the ground, and we'd have got plenty offensive value out of him by using his huge tank and running with the flight of the ball inside 50.

Richo's greatest weakness was his ability to lead.... but his strengths compensated this weakness and made him still a damaging forward.

It's something very hard to teach. Some have it and some dont.

Richo would lead too early most times which made it hard to deliver to him. He wold often lead 2-3 times before he would get the timing right and be honoured with the ball.
